There is no better teacher than AI irrespective of any teacher's capabilities.

Am not saying he can use it to teach but it can teach students who have difficulties in science subjects.

Students planning on writing jamb next year should be advised to purchase chatgpt pro as it is very capable . My cousin who had a tough time with maths and chemistry is now currently doing well in those subjects with the help of chatgpt who tutors him when he is back from school.

Nobody said you can't "learn" with AI. They are saying, he can't teach with AI.
Learning and teaching are two different things, one would expect you to know that, but you obviously don't.
He said didn't do physics in school, AI will only give you answers to the questions you ask. How do you ask the AI questions about something you know nothing about?
For someone who had done physics before the AI will just help in refreshing his memory.

What if you disgrace yourself directly to the school authority in the course of the interview and it affects your friend's job when you're asked who told you about the job vacancy and you point at your friend. For starters, where did you get the notion that A.I. can teach physics?

Being a graduate and having access to AI or internet do not qualify you to teach Physics. Also, I'm not sure if you have an Education degree. in my own opinion, your friend has not wronged you but you have wronged him because you have made him look like a fool before his principal and school management. Your friend knows you and he knows what you studied hence did not direct the vacancy to you. I will like to point out also that teaching profession is not ordinary, it is highly respected profession and you should see it as such. Cutting tie? I believe, it is your friend that needs to cut tie with you. Nothing stop to open up to your friend and tell him everything before presenting yourself as would-be Physics teacher.
