How can you say Yamal is world class when he literally just have one good season, what we are seeing from Yamal now is his potentials, we don't know how long it will last.

He should be consistent for at least 3yrs more with his performance and improve on his stats.

His current stats is not a world class level player yet

I think this is the problem. No footballer is scoring 90 goals a year again and it's improbable that anyone will ever dominate the UCL like CR7. The bar for these two is way too high. Even Messi knew this. When asked to mention some of the best players some years ago, he mentioned some names and left his name and that of Ronaldo out of it.

Since Ronaldo/Messi left the scene, Bdor numbers don normalise. Dembele will win it with normal numbers, Vini nearly won with normal numbers too. Rodri, Benzema all normal numbers. Yet these are all world class players. After Dembele or whoever, another player will win it with normal numbers.

How do you quantify a world class player? Everybody has their own metric but I think a world class player should be that player that can start for any team in the world and improve performance immediately. In that case, Isak ticks all the boxes so I consider him world class from that list. You can also add Osimehn but that'll be debatable by some.

Isak ain't "World class",maybe he is inform or "top class",Mbappe is.You have to be at the top of your game for a long period/consistency... to be considered one.

All am saying is that, you can't call a 18yrs old player World class who literally hasn't have up to 5 season of professional football to his name, performance or stats wise, less than 5 seasons is not good enough to rate a player up to a world class level.

But if you feel one or two seasons is good enough, then that's generous from you, but that mean we may have many players who are world class.
