press9jatv:How many workers has he employed to make government services and public utilities available to everyone? Is the ratio of public schools in Abia state more than 5% of the total schools, or less than 5%, such as the situation in the state of excellence after 26 years of progreThief governance? anonimi: |

You should have a range of above 100k, not 80k and above. Imo state is on another level |

So no one pays its workers 100 dollars per month? Even corpers made 200 dollars during Goodluck |

Some states are yet to fully implement the minimum wage |
| Re: Minimum Wage In Nigeria By States As Of 2025 by anonimi: 4:36pm On Sep 03, 2025 |
Brendaniel:Yes he is, by taking more loans than previous presidents after removing subsidy to save $84 billion and make petrol super expensive along with other things in the country. He is showing them how to prioritise personal luxury over government services and public utilities provided by an adequate number of well paid civil servants. chisomkachy: |

Audio for most states, direct and indirect levies as well as tax/pension deductions ensure most don't go home with more than 50k......the stated figures are most times gross minimum wage and not net |

| Re: Minimum Wage In Nigeria By States As Of 2025 by hotseat: 4:46pm On Sep 03, 2025 |
Brendaniel:Nope! Tinubu has actually taken state governments from economic bondage and utter collapse. Gone are those days when the FG actually had to bail out States just in order to pay even salaries. This is a positive manifestation of the removal of petrol subsidy that was wreaking havoc on the economy by shady characters. If this trajectory is sustained, in the near future things can even get better. The problem is how to trickle the benefits down to the ordinary man on the street by bringing down the prices of goods and services. Once this is achieved, Nigerians would have cause to smile. @hotseat |
| Re: Minimum Wage In Nigeria By States As Of 2025 by Brendaniel: 4:49pm On Sep 03, 2025 |
hotseat:And if it never trickles down to the man on the street what then happens? |

| Re: Minimum Wage In Nigeria By States As Of 2025 by Basic123: 4:56pm On Sep 03, 2025 |
Brendaniel:Next time, don't say what you dont know. Back in the days of true regionalism and federalism, state workers enjoyed higher pay. That how it's supposed to be. States became weakened after Aguyi ironsi rubbish. Tinubu is returning us to those days
|
| Re: Minimum Wage In Nigeria By States As Of 2025 by hotseat: 4:57pm On Sep 03, 2025 |
Brendaniel:In that case, the State Governments should be held accountable for failing to meet the aspirations of the people of their individual states. Government is collective (federal, state and local). For far too long, attention has been focused solely on the FG. As the FG is doing its bit in trying to uplift the welfare of the generality of Nigerians, state governments must be co-partners in this task. @hotseat |
