To be fair, a lot of money has been pumped into asaba from across the bridge ie onitsha and that is a fact. Most young men from Asaba have sold most of the land shared to then by their clans to igbos from onitsha. Infact those traders have raised the price of land and property in asaba. Last time I was there, a previously empty expanse of land I saw few months earlier had a massive shopping center with lockup shops for sale, they said it was built by some developer from onitsha. The insecurity across the Niger Bridge has lead to massive investments in property from those guys, from my observation lots of new properties been built or traded on are from them. Infact the tenant that rented a property I am associated with on ezeneyi road came in from onitsha, he spent a lot renovating the rundown building and it is currently his showroom.
The above is the reality, the problem rises when some low lives then use it to brag that they developed somewhere. Most of those that do the bragging do not even own shishi, neither have they done any developing themselves, they are empty barrels that cause problems for other proper peaceful humble folks.

Onitsha and Anambra is even far developed than Whole of Delta and Onitsha is the most built up city in Nigeria

I don't know any other places that is as developed like this in whole of west Africa

If he has his way with the nass and trust me he sure can, what happens if state police laws gets passed by the nass,how will abia be able to police itself effectively without adjustment to our current laws and peculiarities of every sub national.

She said something innocently with no tribal undertone but the usual people turned it into the usual thing here. What she said is the naked truth. Most onitsha business men moved to Asaba during Derico's armed robbery era and built their houses there. Some others who were into illicit business ran to Asaba due to Bakassi people that time and they all built houses. It's now that 3:3 is developing that some of them are going back to build houses in Onitsha. If there are 100 duplexes in Asaba, over 90% of them belong to Onitsha business men and that's a fact. Asaba people and Igbo people never quarrelled over this but watch how emergency lovers of Igboland have turned this into something else.

The two cities are located in two different states and region.... There's no way tribe or ethnicity won't be brought into it.... See if dis statement was made let's say 10 yrs or even 5 yrs ago...
