If this flat tax thats based on consumption will help subdue the plethora of taxes then it is at least doing something useful. Another thing is utilisation. Will governors have access to it for mosque and imam salaries. |

NOETHNICITY:The price of petrol might decrease due to the fact that dangote will source his crude oil 100% from locals which will then relieve pressure from the naira and make it more strong. |

FG is making all these money yet ragtag terrorists and bandits are being worshipped as heroes publicly in the North? Where is the security operatives that are supposed to be tracking these enemies of the State? Nigerian intelligence don't take their work serious, they don't even care about being on the advantage, catching the ragtag bandits by surprise, this is a shame on APC government, using the people's wellbeing to play politics. |

Tinubu removed subsidy. Fuel and transport costs went to the rooftop. Prices of goods and services went up. He has now introduced fuel tax. Cost of living will go up. Is this the the punishment he promised Nigerians? When he removed subsidy, he flogged us with a broomstick. Now as he introduces fuel tax, he is flogging us with a steel rod. |

Tinubu is an error, his greed knows no bounds. Citizens can gladly pay tax if we were sure it was being utilized right but we know the truth is the opposite. What happened to all subsidy that have been removed? He might just be the end of Nigeria. More suffering will lead to more crimes and the country could just slumber into a failed state where everyone will be carrying arms. The old senile man doesn't care because he won't suffer all these as he is already in the twilight of his life |

President Tinubu-should know that -Increasing his so called - Tax Based Networks - he is trying to come Through The Back- Door And this New Taxes Will Be Making Lives difficult for Nigerians - because It's Going To Be An Added Costs and this will make his government to become Unpopular- because the Minimum Wages Cannot Absorb or Support this one because of High Inflation In Nigeria ! -So, From the Public Perspectives,it looks like --Everything Is Now Being Taxed and it will lead to: - High Cost of Foodstuffs, - High Cost of Transportation, - High Telecom Calls. -High Rents Everywhere, etc, but We CAN'T See Any Govt Housing Being Constructed! -Even in UK Europe 🌍 and Other Countries - Foodstuffs, Lights , Housing ( e.g In Egypt) are being Subsidies! • SO, WHAT IS NIGERIAN GOVT -GIVING THE SUBJECTS IN Return By -REMOVING ALL THESE SUBSIDIES? -NO JOB CREATION, -NO LIGHT 🚨 ANYWHERE - No Industrial Development, etc, •Yet,We Just Read that your govt wants to Bring 2- DISCOS- to The Floor of Nigeria- Capital Market - For What? -Is it by Force- for Company's -Nonperformance or CAN'T Govt see that there are More DARKNESS Everywhere - No Transformers,No Prepaid Meters till this hour because of Corruption in that Sector, etc and More Of DISCOS These DISCOS Are Are Going Into -Receivership! -People Cannot Be Suffering from Govt- including the States Govts,-Lack of Providing Basic Amenities ( e.g Roads ,Water , Electricity 🚨,Class A-Hospitals,etc,) While you are holding Oil and 🪔,removing Subsidies etc, hence they will become More- Poor,as the Burden Of Taxations Falls Directly On The People! •These Same People Cannot Go To Banks - to Borrow as Small Amount as N2m or N3Million-because of CBN AND BANK- HIGH INTEREST RATES - Interest Rates of 11- 30 % Will Kill THEIR BUSINESSES! •Besides,Govt Should Know That-Any Banks Interest-Rates Above 6%. Per Annum - to Any Businesses -In Nigeria -Will Only Create Bad-Debt In The Banks Books, Because Their Is No Shock Absorbers - Unlike A Structural Economics! •We Are NOT IN A STRUCTURED ECONOMY - like USA or UK or Europe -WHERE THE WHITE- PEOPLE HAVE PROVIDED LONG TERM -PLANS AND SOLUTIONS FOR THEIR NEEDS, INCLUDING - Adequate Jobs and guaranteed -FEATURE For THEIR YOUTHS And Masses. Please, Federal Govt Should,Rescind This Surcharge Taxes and let Nigerians be! |

iwaeda:its obvious you don't know Nigerians, the more you oppress them the more they love you, or why do you think the leaders act the way they do, they understand the psychology of Nigerians, make them comfortable and they go against you, but put so much on their table to chew and they will leave you alone or even fight themselves for you, protest in your favour and look for all form of excuses for you to justify your harsh action against them Nigerians can not protest hardship, |

This draconian tax law is enough to recall 90% of lawmakers but most Nigerians are both ignorant and docile! When will Nigerians be united with one voice and push their oppressors instead of being distracted by them? This tax law and that of income tax will further impoverish citizens! Even those supporting this administration will realise that they don't even care about whether you live or die! You are simply a tool and obviously expendable! |
