If any business promises you 50% return on investment, run for your dear life. That's a big red flag first of all. Life is not that easy.

If you tell me that this business can give me 10-18% on investment in 6 months, which will be twice a year. I can still believe it.

But promising someone 50% return on investment every month, in 12 months that means you will be raking in 600% return, and if you believe such, it typically means that, you as an individual is so greedy.

Run for your dear life from anybody that promises you such collosal amount of return on investment. Like I said, life is not that easy.

A few months ago on facebook similar person fromthe same area was aking people to invest 180k for a slot in a keke, the idea being to recoup 50% interest onthe capital in 6 months.

Those familiar with the keke business know that its not that easy to make such return , stay away from investment schemes that promise unrealistic returns.

People are just looking for money to flee the country, invest in people that really do the business, successful ones have other means to raise funds they wont ask people to contribute working capital for them btw.

Anyone asking you to pay 100-500k for farmland with promise of returns is a fraudster. Most have never been to farms, they take that money and disappear in thin air, forget the pictures and the content they are fraudsters.

I didn't even know he was using public investors.
I thought he grew his business from scratch.

Just the same way you transfer money to artisans for labour and materials purchase and they start feeling like millionaires, whereas their money there is just a few hundred thousands.

I don't even see this as greed. I see it as senselessness.

I advised people close to me then to pull out capital and invest only profit. Some listened some didn't. He had also started defaulting in some people's payments. I guess he kept the wedding flamboyant to boost investors confidence. I know the young man. Leave matter.

Now this is a better analysis and submission. The company started nosediving around 2023 when the then CFO resigned citing none compliance to financial advise and reckless spending. The icing on the cake was when he purchased those trucks, again, i feel he was in competition with Enviable.(Gavice bought trucks before Enviable though)
It's very unfortunate such a thing happened. At some point he even borrowed 500M from Moniepoint so as to manage the crisis with his investors but it couldn't solve the issue because by then panic had set in. It's well
