Many of them are here being a constant nuisance daily.
But really, there's a lot of avenue to make decent living in this country because it's a large market. Just have a good trading idea and follow through with vigour and not be shy with it.

How will they be employed?
Most of these geaduates lacks what it takes to be employed.
I conducted more than a thousand interviews in the last one year and I feel sorry for the future of our country..
Imagine telling applicants to write something simple and they are using abbreviations!
Phones are supposed to be a blessing but curse to most Nigerian youths
Oga, rest! For every unemployable 6, there are 3 employable applicants. You are only focusing on those that are unemployable. Take a walk down your street and see the number of brilliant minds without jobs.

What is happening to Nigeria is beyond unemployability; the problem is that the jobs aren't just available. I don't even want to talk about the number of people doing their second-best jobs.

This is one of the evils holding Nigeria to ransome today. But paid online supporters like Reno will not say what they are doing to remedy the situation. Only loans so more unemployed youths would be churned out and join the already intimidating numbers.

Entrepreneurship is the way forward , don’t dull yourself looking for white collar jobs.

You’re only okay yourself and setting yourself up for destruction.

Faulty dataset.

How do they track unemployed youths in Nigeria?

They just pulled data from the air to deceive gullible Nigerians solely for political reasons.

That is why Nigeria should be a producing economy.. government should provide a conducive environment for businesses, companies, industries to thrive and also attract foreign investments.. provide constant electricity light supply to boost businesses

Hmmm ....must everything be exaggerated? ...80 million youths unemployed. At what age does youth end? ... because Obi is considered youthful ... Tinubu described in his campaign as still having a lot of youth left...so who really are these youths? When we look at our youth leaders and representatives .... potential grandfather aged people . One may think in this case youth means like under 25 . If so ...population of 240 million ... 80 million youths unemployed....how many are employed?.... 40 million?.... that's 120 million. How many are at school? ....110 million?.... that's 220 million . How many are below school age? .... 10 million?...240 million. How many adults are employed? ...40 million? .... that's 280 million. How many adults are not employed? ... 20 million? ....300 million. So what is our population? These people cannot make a point without exaggerating numbers....just be pulling numbers out of thin air.
Re: Over 80m Nigerian Youths Unemployed – Report by franchasng: 10:12am On Sep 05, 2025
It's more than 80million if you factor in the ones doing unstable jobs that can lay them off any day or time.

The figure should be around 155 million Nigerian youths are unemployed, and around 10 million underemployed.

Even people like Peller are unemployed, if you add such youths and those employed by Yahoo Yahoo to the number, you maybe arriving at 190 million unemployed youths.

Re: Over 80m Nigerian Youths Unemployed – Report by correctguy101(m): 10:15am On Sep 05, 2025

Quick Maths but a Caveat to note before procession; this isn't an attempt to rubbish the claim of unemployment.
The figure right there is unrealistic and an hyperbolic aggrandizing mammoth. What's Nigerian Population according to census to now claim we have over 80 million unemployed youths?
Abeg easy with the exaggeration.
Re: Over 80m Nigerian Youths Unemployed – Report by Proudlyngwa(m): 10:25am On Sep 05, 2025
If Nigeria has up to 80 million unemployed youths, Nigeria as a country will collapse in less than 3 months.

This information is not only unrealistic, it is annoying at the same time.

What is our total population.

How many are within the working range, after removing the elderly and those below 18 years, do you want to tell me one third of the population dont have any engagement to acquire funds.
This is a big fat lie.
The society would have collapsed if this was true .
Incase you are not aware self employment is employment
Re: Over 80m Nigerian Youths Unemployed – Report by bluefilm: 10:27am On Sep 05, 2025
But out of that 80 Million plus, recruit 50 Million Youths into the Army

What they will eat?

Cassava, agbado, corn in the morning, Yam in the afternoon, it's growing here.

You create demand and consumption.

Problem solved

Menopausal women like Abike Dabiri are everywhere now ...so sad that they are shouting sophisticated progressiveness aimlessly.

OnionBandit:
Definitely exaggerated even though I agree that the number of unemployed youth is alarming. It's a serious problem in itself, with far-reaching effects including an increasing number of single women in menopause and rising crime rates.
