This is very terrible. We can all see why we have alot of bandit, kidnappers and all sort of terrible things happening in this country.

With 80 million unemployed youths even the best police and the military in the world can't do much.

Every problems have history. The unemployment reality is predictable and it has nothing to do with the current government or the last one. Every issue that’s not nippled as they arise will surely become perennial. When Nigeria was with less population, the government of then were only wasting money without projecting the direction of growth and strategically plan for it. Any household that does not plan for their unborn children will suffer when the children later arrive. No government can solve the unemployment issue in 8 years, it has to be done by projection; by intentional plans and investment over years. Any presidential candidate that promise to eradicate unemployment in Nigeria is a liar

Many of them are here praising their oppressors and urging them to pilfer their resources. Oshodi axis use to have many industries, most of them today are churches. Same with Otta, bad roads has forced them to close shops. Every junction in LAGOS now have young men doing drugs and drinking their futures away, collecting owomida. grin grin grin grin
Is Tinubu the cause. Even if you bring Jesus Christ to rule nothing will change.

The only way is regional governance but what do I know I guess you are part of the youth who only follow online trends and patterns

tunde1200:
We're quick to blame without reasons for the cause of unemployment in the country but due to hate in many Nigerians toward a particular person they cannot reason well.

I don't think is up to 20 millions employed from my own statistics.
Not only youths joooo
Them no even reach 5millions sef😂

Radarada

Almost every street in Nigeria is littered with young boys calling themselves yahoo boys and agberos, is that your own definition of employment?

The only way is regional governance , this will make government touch everywhere. Free education in Nigeria was done easily through regionalism. This is what the youth should be fighting for but what do I know I guess you are part of the youth who only follow online trends and patterns

There was a long time ago. In the country of forest, the tress were voting for the axe because the handle came from they village. After the election, there was a massive deforestation by the axe. The goat that warned the tress about the consequence moved on to the country of grassland. So also other.

Have you ever thought why a politician without any enterprise becomes stupendously wealthy after he wins an election? A country where politicians are richer than business tycoons, or gurus owing the real ventures like industries, corporations etc

Until the 80% begins to vote for credible leaders with proven track record of running a successful business, professionals in different fields that have made their marks even if na teacher, Nurse, Doctors, etc. not this regular politicians that have never worked anywhere apart from NYSC and politics. Make I give example?

How I wish our election is in such a way that only people that pay their taxes have a higher points of voting, have some level of education, etc not when you have 1000 idiots and 100 sane person all casting their votes. At the end of the day, the idiots will end up electing an idiot.

A huge security risk, having such numbers unemployed!
Eb1lokan’s cluelessness, corruption and incompetence make his 2011 expired northerner look like a superstar.

How could Obasanjo make this shege possible by tearing the card of the party that made him president from Abacha’s prison, before endorsing APC’s Buhari to replace Jonathan, even though he knew how his fellow military dictator was clueless about the economy?

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

I personally believe the figures of unemployed youth is way higher than this. It's a time bomb sad
Politicians have designed a way to only pick the ones who are vocal among the many and give them one random job.

Unemployment is a time bomb

Re: Over 80m Nigerian Youths Unemployed – Report by RightToReject(m):
In this 21st century, it's irritating and appalling to hear any able-bodied person says they're unemployed - if underemployed or undergoing some life challenges, I can understand a bit. Come on! If no one/org employs you, employ yourself.

And don't even come up with the usual no seed capital chorus. Money has always been the least among the most important capitals most people who lust about conquering the business world lack - in figuring out the most important capitals, seed capital emerges.

Many Nigeria youth are unemployable. You graduated with 3rd but wanted to work in Oil company, just because you managed to graduate with your poor certificate courtesy of miracle centres doesn't mean the labour market will respect you.

Sadly most of them are already warming up to collect Tinubu's 5k in 2027 and vote for him again.
And they will continue to do so because politicians have weaponized poverty on a national scale.

When you said Tinubu and APC leaders have no value, their hungry supporters online will call you Obidients
Tinubu can't be doing well when 80 million Nigerians are unemployed and 160 million are hungry
Stop praising your oppressors because they are from the same region or religion

Yet, Tinubu has made a law to dip his hands into their pockets for taxes .

Even if your brother gives you urgent 2k, Tinubu will take 20% of that money.

Glorified agbero-style tax system.
