Hahaha! This brought back sweet memories 🤣. If you had that Terminator console back then, you were truly living large. I still remember crowding with friends, struggling with Duck Hunt gun and passing pad for Contra like it was Olympics.

As for Mario’s princess… me I no go lie, I no reach there. Always dying on top that castle stage 😅.

I just stumbled on the Super Mario Bros game that was first released in 1985. Fond memories. I used my saved pocket money to buy the Terminator Game Console that we used in playing Super Mario and other games like Contra, Duck Hunt and Mortal Kombat.

I literally trekked to school for a long time just to save N850 which I used to purchase the game. This was in 1996. My house became a theatre, always filled with friends until Popsy seized the game and asked me to concentrate on my books. If you get this game console that year, you be sabi pikin.

How many of you saw the princess at the end in Super Mario?

Chai, Super Mario. We used to trek long distances just to play this game. Childhood was sweet back then.

Funnily, I just downloaded the theme track sound last week to remind myself of the fun then.

one strange thing about graphics is that you don't even know it was weired until better graphics comes .... I can't even believe I enjoyed black and white television those years.

Do they even still make this ending man version? All the chinese copy online have funny button arrangements that doesn't give the feel of this console. B run turbo for long jumps...

Deluxe soccer.... Street fighter,.. F1 racer, Motobike Gp racer,, Ninja turtle, Sonic racer,mortal Kombat, Superbros mario, Alien space shooter, contra 4,.. dis game should be around 1995 was JSS3 ...

Sega Mega Drive 2 with mortal combat was it for me then. Then there was street fighter that could keep me glued to my screen for hours unending.

I was a well-respected highly sought after champion in my hood back then. Funny enough, one faithful day, we heard a knock on our door, it was someone from a family in the neighbourhood coming to invite me over to their house just to play Super Mario Bros. They've struggled to get to the end. I felt like a hero. Got there, smashed the bosses and ended the game in grand style.

The dangerous Dave we played on PC had just 9 levels which we eventually completed countless times. Those games can damage keyboard but we go dey manage am like that. Maybe that's why my dad decided to get the super mario game console make the computer rest

You dey play Mario with cheat just to rescue princess from the dragon, when some of us can actually take just a life, take a good number of power ups and growth and shooting power to finish the game in just one time.....
