https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLMjafhri38 I am not a thief and I am not a fugitive. This is a contract between my company and the Enugu State Government. The Enugu State Government asked me to help them build a couple of things, a couple of projects which was very interesting. I was going to the state every week. In the middle of the project, the Governor said okay, he wanted to build a city and he wanted to build the tallest building in Nigeria, 69-storey building. I designed it and gave it to him, he said okay, keep it aside. He said while you are waiting for this, please help me do these schools, we have money but we don't have people who can do it.Ogundele Olasijibomi on been declared wanted by the EFCC Previous Thread: Olasijibomi Of Sujimoto Luxury Construction Declared Wanted By The EFCC

If this is all a disagreement over contract terms and conditions and if it is not the case of the contractor collecting money and not performing, then EFCC should stay out of it. Contractual disagreement should first go to arbitration as always provided in such contracts and if that fails, the aggrieved party should go to court instead of using state powers to intimidate the other party. |

What does enugu need to build the tallest building for. See how governors are wasting resources on useless projects |

Come on, man! In EPC engagements, the first rule to observe as a practitioner is to never surrender your standard and corporate philosophy under any circumstances. Anyway, I know that you'll come out wiser and more grounded after this ordeal. |

You accepted project know how volatile Nigeria economy can, now you can't deliver on it with lots of complain. Some of these smart school project is already collapsing and sujimoto want to attract pity instead of going to efcc straight. It okay. Let's see how it goes. |

And Spyder880 is from Enugu state, living in Enugu and not called to build even one school? ![]() I have built so many structures in this country that the government should have contacted me and seen how I deliver over 10 new buildings in a year, and still have zero case with anyone in Nigeria. |

So this guy is reason why the Enugu Smart Schools in every ward has not materialized as Peter Mbah envisioned it? This is not tribalism but I blame Mbah. There are Igbo contractors who would have delivered that project without all this kind of drama that is happening now. An Igbo contractor would have been passionate about the project and delivered it in the spirit of “Nkea-bu-nke-anyi”. I hope he learns from this. |

seunmsg:You are saying this because it’s an Ayodele that is involved. I bet you would have had a different opinion if it was a Chukwuma that was implicated in this. So you now know the law more than EFCC and can teach the agency the law and their job abi? This country will not go anywhere if you lots continue to defend rubbish and bend the rules once it’s your kinsman that is involved. |

Story Just return the Enugu state money immediately If prices went up, why can't you go to the governor and ask for variation like every other contractors do? |

Sometimes I believe we get the kind of people we deserve in Nigeria. How can a professional accept a contract to build substandard buildings as SCHOOLS, and be openly saying it, and because he is shedding tears in the video, Nigerians will start supporting him. If the buildings collapse, just like Lekki Gardens own did, and innocent children from poor and average families now die, people will be calling out government, Tinubu is wicked, Mbah is wicked... conveniently forgetting their was a contractor who knew he could not meet standards that took the job in the first place!! Could this grown man who is already wealthy (thanks to Nigeria being a basket case) not just say "No" and move on?? Is it every contract that we must take in this country? Anyway, he has shed tears now so it cannot be his fault.....chai it is good to be an "Elite" in this country ooo, these kind of followers there mumu never do |

RightToReject:What is the relevance of this This is a business matter Where is the criminal angle Do governments award contracts to companies or individuals When there have been issues with bigger foreign companies does it become EFCC issue or even personal Was he operating as a company or individual If there is personal criminal behaviour he must be held accountable but let that be made public |

This his story is the same one all entrepreneurs are complaining about but his uselezz yolo brothers (not all) still support tilumbu to hike prices of goods and services monthly till 2027 If a whole state government contractor is crying then imagine the common man managing his small business on the streets and how he's weeping ![]() |

People think we are crazy when we avoid government projects but you will always learn bitter lessons at the end of the day except you have the mind to run after first mobilization which a lot of contractors do to avoid these type of stories. Let's hear from the EFCC and Enugu state govt sha ![]() |

The sad thing is Efcc does not remove you from their website once declared wanted. I don't know if their website don't have administrator. Always consult your lawyer to draft agreement. In Burna Boys word me and you no be Jesus. |

Esthered:People here have argued this isn't an issue for the EFCC It is an abuse of power. There are procedures to follow where there's a supposed breach of contract. |

Hmmm, before now, we have read all sort of nonsense narratives concerning this |
| Re: Olasijibomi in tears, explains Fallout With Enugu Governernment (Video) by AndroBlaze: 3:21pm On Sep 05, 2025 |
grandstar:Read between the lines. He admitted on the video that from DAY ONE, the cost the government wanted him to build the schools at did not make sense, and the government apparently accepted this. Which suggests even if not for inflation, he would have definitely had to cut corners to deliver. What you people don't know is that this is standard practice for a lot of government projects and that is why a lot of them don't last or contractors abandon the projects halfway (if it even gets to halfway). Most government officials don't go after a lot of these contractors because they've already collected their own part even before the project begins. I was not there when he did his project (so I can't say if his own followed the exact same tune), but this is no news nor a major earth shattering discovery, everyone in their circle knows these things. |
