I just discussed this a while ago with someone telling him that it's not about what you practice but about leadership. I said some president in democratic nation behaves like authoritarian and our president is an example. I prefer some solutions like how to manage subsidy that the scheme is not a strange or abnormal scheme. Saudi Arabia pays more subsidy times ten of what we pay and they are better than us. Saudi pays 7,000 us dollars per individual.
We should stop deceiving ourselves our leaders are very terrible in leadership and Tinubu is just that terrible.
You have a good point but Saudi Arabia is a tourist country, people around the world use all their savings to go on pilgrimage there... You know how much Saudi made on religious tourism alone apart from their crude oil? $15.8 billion

Re: Nigeria Drifting Towards Authoritarianism Under Tinubu - Atiku by simpleseyi:
Yes, it is Authoritarian rule. What can you do? You and your boss Olusegun Obasanjo did worst. You removed three governors illegally and still spent your full 8 miserable years looting our national treasury.

You and your boss Olusegun Obasanjo directed the Police to tear gas Chuba Okadigbo during one of the protests against your illegalities knowing fully well that Okadigbo was Asthmatic. This contributed to Okadigbo’s early death

Atiku has no moral compass, nor credibility to speak on governance/administration.

The next president after 2031 will be a friend of the SW and SS grin grin grin
And if another region is coming after that, then it's the turn of SS in 2039.

Atiku shouldn't worry, the longest this Administration will last is 2031, then a Northerner will take over.
What I know about the Black Man is that when power is given, the abuse is sure. Most times worse than their predecessor.
Tinubu has set a new direction in governance that subsequent Administration will certainly amplify. For instance I will not be surprised if the next president removes 2 or 3 governors under emergency rule I'm a state like Lagos, Akwa Ibom and Kano.
It will be very interesting.

You know Saudi has tourism right Do you know Nigeria has more natural resources than saudi and infact Mechanized Farming can fetch Nigeria $15.8billion if we are vested in export

Nigeria have places of tourism as well what is the govt you defend blindly doing to explore those avenues ..

The level of ignorance and deliberate self-blinding to facts from commentators like you is of the highest order.

By your comments, you were expecting BAT to have folded his hands and allow the status-quo in Rivers-State where the State Legislators were going to impeach the Governor and Supporter of the Governor were already blowing up the pipeline that is the sustenance of Nigeria economy?

You expect him to wait and watch anarchy unfold before reacting?

Haba!!!!!! borrow yourself brain now.

Instead of you, the opposition members to come together and present a united front, all of you are busy repeating what made you fail in 2023 by forming ADC, PDP, LP, NNPP

Nigeria has experienced a lot under APC. Abuse of power and the rule of law. Government feeling like lords, like everything is ok, no wrong must especially from anybody in their own camp.

Mr Tinubu has not set any new direction in governance, he actually said he would continue from where Buhari stopped. So, what do y'all expect?

More so, Nigerians have not actually had it any better since the GEJ days, unless you have a short memory.
