Marketers import from there na. Though capacity of production cannot cater for naija needs and will threaten our local refinery.

Re: Africa's Cheapest Petrol Prices (₦/Litre) by Sirleo05: 4:02pm On Sep 05, 2025
Some people ( celebrities paid to talk rubbish) will come now and start telling us our fuel is cheap. But what they will not compare is the minimum wage across other countries
Re: Africa's Cheapest Petrol Prices (₦/Litre) by BlackViper(op): 4:02pm On Sep 05, 2025
Because we have larger oil reserves than them and we can produce more if we had the refining capacity

The countries with high cost of fuel per litre, do they have crude oil as natural resources?

Comparison with other members of OPEC lets know how prudent our govt is.

Libya, Angola and Algeria are still subsidizing petrol unlike us. And it is a lot easier to subsidize petrol in Libya which is a country of less than 8m people.

Meanwhile, Angola is already has started gradual removal of subsidy and see the outcome in the image below.

Is it minimum wage that determines the pump price of petrol in the world?

I think it could be a subsidize rate for the citizen alone.
