I know you know what you are doing judging from your calls but consider the tool of breakeven. Much better than a loss. Keeps you in the game for another day.

Technically the dollar is still quite in a run to the top, Draw on liquidity is 98.7

Yesterday though price rejected the imbalance and retraced down 50% of the bullish move made.

This is could be a confirmation to continue upwards but if we get a candle body close below 98 area then we follow the bearish narrative.

The Euro is basically the inverse of whatever price action DXY gives.

And as you can see , we're technically still short until 1.1700 is broken propelling the EURO upwards unto the next DOL 1.1800

GBPUSD H4 🔭

Similar to the Euro, the Pound Cable is poised to continue the bearish trend after a the 50% retracement made yesterday.

This could be a textbook pattern but we want to see price action show it's hand then we follow.

The logic is in place already and by London session we should see it play it most likely.

XAUUSD H4 🔭

After a 3 days long, 1500 pips bull run Gold drops significantly.

Further decline or a retest to go higher ?

The yellow metal is sizzling hot and it could make you feel hot if you were one of those who bought the top and saw it fall 500 pips down during the Asian session.

Typically Gold tend to have a bearish day in the midst of its rally and today might just be poised to be one.

3500 is a possible area Gold might reclaim, as we can spot an imbalance there but that would be possible if we close below 3530 which is the last bearish Swing Low.

Keep your eyes on this precious metal as we look for opportunities the Market might present

I had issues understanding the reason why this trade gave profit then made a reversal, taking me out in a loss which would have been much more if not closed. I had to look for a way to figure it out so as not to occur again.

After figuring it out, I saw a trade with similar concept (Gbpchf) which I posted before I entered yesterday. I knew it will reverse to take out the profit today and end up in loss.

To some extent I've being able to figure out trades that will only give profit for a single day and take it all back the following day resulting in loss.

Nice that you figured it out. Trading can be daunting when profit turn into loss. It can leave a perversive trait on your psychology.

Another way to reduce profits turning into a loss is to watch the DAILY ADR of the asset you are trading.

If you are lucky enough to get in the right trade, once the trade is getting to 1.0x, 1.5x, 2x of your Daily ADR, best to TP cos, there will be more likely be a pause, a recovery or reversal
