It seems there are two form of regret mail for the GT application. One of the regret email has "at this time" while the other do not have "at this time".

Could this mean a waitlist in disguise?

No.

Two types of regret was shared for the GT. There was a slight difference in the wordings.

One set of the regret mail has "at this time" while the other do not have.

The phrase "at this time" has meaning you know. Well, thank you once more, I have taken your advice in good fate.

Lol...we still import gas too.

I get your point, but you did not consider the fact that we majorly consume butane while we export propane.

This move might just be a means of capturing Africa market.

The reason why I asked was that the recent Trainee Technician rejection mail were sent out in batches. The first batch received theirs between 1:35pm to 1:38pm and it has a phrase "at this time". While the second which doesn't has came at a latter time.

Do you think that's a waitlist in disguise?

If there is a waitlist it would be clearly stated...

As far as i know, the successful guys have started their onboarding process and would be starting their training soon...

The "at this time" means you're in their talent pool and they can call on you if spaces become available but it's not a guarantee. Also, if they call, it's not everyone that would be called.

Those that have 'at this time' in the email are in the talent pool and can be called upon anytime if there's space. But they won't call everyone. They'll only call as the need be

To those of us who got the at this time email but didn’t resume in January 2025, just like me, I think it’s time to move on.

A friend of mine made it during the January 2025 batch, but he’s an engineering graduate. It’s safe to say the oil & gas space is still largely tilted towards engineers.

It’s been months of waiting and uncertainty. Nights like those in July/August 2023 and again in October 2024 are hard to forget, and yes, this feels just as heavy.

But sometimes, closing a door is the only way to truly heal. Over and out. I will deactivate this account and hopefully it will ease some of the weight too.

Hello. Good day. Pls, do you have any idea if i could use my SOR in place of B.Sc. certificate, and WAEC certificate in place of Secondary certificate during my application. I'm asking because it was clearly stated that if non aligning documents are attached, one's application will not be processed
