Midwestern region creation is testament to who the Yorubas as per neocolonialism and respect of minority peoples agitation.

FYI, Midwest agitation was spearheaded by the then Oba of Benin and the entire matter was settled in the regional House in Ibadan with no single Yoruba MP opposing the motion to conduct a plebescite . A Yoruba MP even announced the motion on the floor of Parliament.

After the referendum was concluded , another Yoruba MP at the Federal parliament was the one that moved a motion for parliament to ratify the results and create the Midwestern region.

This was never the case in the East and northern region.

The Sarduna's ''one north'' mantra was a testament of his resolve never to see the so-called pagan provinces of today's present middle belt have their own region.

In the East it was far worse as the ibo majority in Enugu refused to entertain any talk of a motion for the coastal people to secede from the East.

Note that the minorities took their agitation to the federal level and secured the support of the north, west and Midwestern parliamentarians to see to a plebescite being granted.

That was when Zik decided to activate his morons in the army to overthrow the government and abolish regional governments.

Nigeria's Political map reveals the illiteracy of the entire country's leadership.

We have unconstitutional regional nomenclatures that are not even geographically accurate. In the Norther axis, you have North Central, North West and North East and in the South, instead of having South Central, Sout West and South West, you have the geographical South Central named as South East and the geographical South East named as South South.

So that actually shows that as a country, our nomenclature is illiterate by nature. A total nonsensical listing from geographical nomenclature.

You are very conversant with this. I also want to bring it to your knowledge that Ikwerre people were part of the agitation to break away from the old East. And for the morons who don't understand the history of the Igbos and Ikwerres, if Ijaws, Ogonis and other tribes of Niger Delta saw the Ikwerres as Igbos they wouldn't have allowed them in the struggle. They knew the same oppression they went through in the hands of the Igbos, Ikwerre people went double of it.
