Many educated Nigerians like me (not those drug smugglers) who once fancied the idea of visiting south Africa have completely cancelled South Africa from our hearts looking at the venom and hate spilled by average south Africans against other blacks in Africa most especially Nigerians, Zimbabwe, Kenyans, etc.

The rest of Africa is developing however slow the pace. But the idea most SA have (going by their comments here and in all social media spaces) is that SA is heaven in the middle of hell. The other African countries are seen as hell. However, it's not true. SA is more industrialised than the rest of Africa, but Morocco, Seychelles, Mauritius are equally doing well. When it comes to income, and some other indices, SA is not alone. I was surprised to read that equatorial guinea even pay tech staff far above south Africa and the other more developed countries. So the rest of Africa is not hell as perceived by SA.

Back to your post. It appears, you are trying to say, free emergency medical care is strightly an indigene or citizen right - not a non-citizen right in SA. Well, it's possible for that man to have had SA citizenship if it's free for citizens. But if by SA it is an indigenous right, then the Nigerian man is completely wrong to go near there

The emotional reaction and public outrage from south Africans whenever the word "Nigeria" is mentioned has nothing to do with drugs as they allege. The average black SA has hate problem and it feels like majority of black SA suffering in the midst of plenty has conditioned you guys to this psychiatric condition. Could it be post-apartheid PTSD or what? I don't understand your grieving conditions

White SA do not complain of anyone doing drugs or taking away their jobs the way you blacks do. This tells, they nurse no hidden grievance or hate. Black SA hate minority white SA, also hate blacks from the rest of Africa. So it's a hate problem for which you guys need a "national medical rehabilitation".

To me it points to an ingrained inferiority complex and a deep resentment towards black South African people.. You hardly find progressive countries like Kenya obsessing over white people.. its always them.. be it on YouTube or Twitter, theyre a forever talking about white people. Some guy was crediting white people for preserving our wildlife, I then asked him what about the wildlife in countries like Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania thats well preserved as well, he kept quiet.. Things other African countries do well, Nigerians credit white people in the case of South Africa. We are held to a different standard

Well said my brother. You are spot on. It is indeed PTSD. Don't mind some people here who are trying to get you to rationalize barbaric, uneducated and illiterate acts. The average South AFricans have only experienced NIgerians through the lens of some of these Poor village boyz who have trooped to their country and joined Drug syndicates.

A majority of them do not travel and have no other frame of reference other than what they see and all the negative news they consume on social media and please don't let them quote their constitution for you, it is a guise to express their hatred and digust at foreign nationals. They will find any excuse to discriminate where they can and their government are indirectly sanctioning it because they don't want to upset the populous as elections approach. Today its hospitals, tomorrow it will be schools, next week it will the work place, soon they will be calling them cockroaches and we will have a Rwanda on our hands again.
