He is and that's based on where Anambra state was coming from. Anambra state was completely controlled by godfathers who siphoned state fund and installed Governors, Assembly members, etc like Tinubu does in Lagos.

They held Anambra state in captivity like a captured territory....insecurity ravaged Anambra state.....nothing was working as a young state....Peter Obi defeated and ended godfatherism politics in Anambra.....and liberated Anambra for future Governors.....he ended the mad insecurity there....refaced Upper Iweka.....did massive road network creation in rural areas....revamped Anambra schools and handed them back to Missionary for effective management. Upon all these, he still saved billions for Anambra and also invested for the future....no other Governor in the history of Nigeria has ever done such. He also rejected all forms of retirement benefits as ex Governor....no other ex Governor, not even Tinubu as rich as he is did it.


So if you consider how meager Anambra's IGR and federal allocation was then, Peter Obi is the Lee Kuan Yew of Anambra state....so if you give him a bigger stage with larger resources and power, he would do wonders for Nigeria no jokes.


And remember, he has even improved and become more refined, exposed......and wiser than he was when he governed Anambra as Governor being a very young trader.

Peter obi is the lee kuan yun of Anambra state indeed 😆...was that before 2022 or after?.....So he wants to do what LKY did for 30yrs in a country of just 6million people and 735km square in 4yrs in a country of 236 million and 134 000 square km..desperados

A country of barely 2m with one language and one culture is what you want to compare to that of over 200m with over 400 different ethnicities and even more diverse languages.....try and manage a common cda in your area first and let's see how you will fare.....there is no one the Yorubas would bring,the Igbos would never support and vice versa and there is no one northerners would bring that will get the full support of the south,we the people are our own problem.

Lee Kuan Yew was a reformist like Bola Tinubu is right now. Unlike Bola Tinubu though, Lee was a dictator who didn’t allow opposition and ethnic hatred to distract him in the process of reforming Singapore. He held tight to power and ruled for 30 straight years.

Nobody talked down on him after just two years in office. He was given absolute support by everyone just to ensure the reforms work out well. Singapore is also a small country with no ethnic or religious division. There was no ethnic governors and a corrupt National Assembly to carry along. Even at that, it took him 30 years to get the job done.

So, you want to compare him with another reformist who has only served for two years as the president of a very big country with over 200 million people, over 250 ethnicities and multiple religious groups.


With Tinubu, Nigeria is on the right track and all indices confirms this. However, it will take years of we being on the right track for the results to start getting to the ordinary people. It is a marathon and not a sprint. We shall get there if we stay true to the cause.

Regardless of who foisted on you, that is our current constitution, and you'd need to change it to make your self determination mean secession.
And with no legislatures advocating for such a constitution change, you'd not find it easy at all.
