In January 2024, I apply for tourist visa to Spain with the family of three and we were refused on the reason that, (the purpose of travel is not RELIABLE)

(1) I want to reapply alone iin the year 2025,what can I do correct this reason?

(2) can I reapply at another Schengen country like Italy, Netherlands or france, because I learn that Spain is too strict.

(3)Like how many millions of naira we I have in my bank account to apply, because I learn that Schengen country usually give there visa to a reach person.is closings balance of 5million okay to apply and be granted?

(4) Is it true that if one has been denied of Spain visa before,and the person went ahead to reapply for Italy visa,that. It's authentic refusal?

You can reapply to France.

I know it is possible for spain. You can get appointment on spot, but i can not speak for others. Goodluck

What do you mean by off site work. You can not work on a business visa in spain.

Please clarify. Yes, if you visit Bls physically for an appointment, they will grant it to you.

Stop giving out false information , i called the bls and they said there is nothing like walk in appointment , you have to boom online

July20th:
I applied for Spanish Schengen visa since July 10th 2025, I’m still yet to get my passport. The people at the visa collection center BLS Spain told me that all the visa officers at the Spanish embassy resigned, hence the reason for not getting a response from the embassy. They also informed me that they haven’t had appointments in 2 weeks. This is so disappointing, all of my efforts and resources wasted.

Please always pay attention to details.
They would never grant such a request over the phone, you have to show them something to address your concern physically.

Also, i am still confirming the update by the other person , i will revert before 7pm.

Go with proof/ "something/evidence" you need to travel urgently.

The reason why i want to be sure is because i dont live in lagos, in afraid of traveling that far without submitting my application. You just said wait for their response

I had intention of doing Malta, but that has to be done via Italian Embassy in Nigeria.

It's best to just get France or Italy, then use that opportunity to visit Malta.

Just that their visa stamp would not be obtained, since you're visiting via another Schengen visa.

If it possible, one can get
Portugal, Netherlands, Germany Belgium, Italy, France and Spain visa stamps on your passport by respectively applying via their embassies, but the refusal rate will discourage one from this. Hence, people are stuck with France and Italy.

I actually just went to the BLS office today for the Walk In option. I was told that Its isn't available now.

This is because there hasn't been appointments for a while now, the office is also empty.

I was told that the walk in option is only available when appointments are ongoing. In that case, if someone misses theirs, the person seeking Walk In can be given the slot, at an extra cost.

This is actually true, I was there yesterday and got same feedback. They're not taking appointments currently.
It's getting frustrating.

And no lead or mention of when they are likely to open the booking portal?

That's the annoying part, they said I should keep checking the website, that their boss at Bls has gone to the embassy to complain or something, the last time website was open for booking they said it lasted for just 20 mins. So we should keep trying and it might be opened next week.
Then they also suggested using agents.

I'm scheduled for a legalization appointment on Wednesday, and the email says appointments are held between 8am-10am. Do I need to arrive by 8am sharp? My house is quite far from the location, and I'd like to plan my journey accordingly.
