This country is very annoying.
You deployed such number of officers to protect a Chinese (Critical National Asset) abi?
Such number of officers were taken unawares to the extent eight of them were killed and their Critical National Asset abducted.
It means there was no resistance from the officers because they were not at alert on such an unpredictable road.
Even Vigilante will fight back and kill one of the attackers.
This ones will only be on the road to harass and intimidate innocent road users.

This is sad and a loss... My heart felt condolence to the families of the slain personnel and NSCDC...

But we need to revisit the modus operandi of armed personnel safety while on duty... one of which is the use of bulletproof vests and helmets...

Presently Nigeria has its own local manufacturer of such... DICON... so these bulletproof vests should be available to personnel... because casualty numbers as these are red signals and demoralizes other personnel...

Once our #200, #500 and #1k are completely phased out of circulation, kidnapping and armed robbery will die a natural death!
