No sensible Man settles with a coded PROSTITUTE. One that have no financial investment in the courtship other than her body.

There are no two ways about it, your husband is your boss. That does not mean master-servant relationship. He is simply your head.
Even the bible INSTRUCTS this :- Ephesians 5:22-24 - Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

As a matter of factly, these pieces of advice were not directly meant for Temi and Tosin, but rather Tuface, Annie, Natasha, and their likes.

Feminists are already having sleepless nights. Some even said she took them 15 steps backwards 😂😂😂.

But here’s the thing guys, Temi dare not say she will never take Eazi’s name. Why? Because she was raised right. She respects authority, and she’s loyal too.

Recently we hired someone to handle a few things. At first we thought she was just performative, but over time we realized she’s genuinely like that. When I dug deeper, I found out her dad had two wives but still remained a responsible father. That shaped her. When you raise a daughter in love and care, you’re teaching her how to love and respect a man.

The witches we see online are either direct descendants of second Timothy or products of failed parenting. And let’s not forget that the love a man shows his wife influences his daughters’ choices in men: what they give, expect, and tolerate.

So if we want wives like Temi, we must raise daughters like Otedola did. Women who won’t only submit to their husbands but also won’t be shaking nyash for likes or turning weddings into 18+ events with half-naked displays.

A responsible society is a collective effort.
nice input

I actually know what it means to be boss and what it means to be head. You're trying to confuse me with facts.

maik:
In Yoruba land when you address the husband as the boss, it means you should respect your husband as the head of the family.

Billionaire businessman Femi Otedola gave a heartfelt speech at his daughter Temi’s wedding, praising her union with Tosin (Mr Eazi) while urging her to respect her husband as her “boss.”

He also encouraged the couple to keep their challenges private and continue building their love together

This is someone swimming in millions if not billions advising his daughter who is most likely to inherit millions from her dad o, just compare this to those single ladies out there who probably made their first million, they will start telling the whole world that they don't need a man and any man that comes now must be ready to cook for himself, wash and still take care of the household bills 100%.

It's well o
This is one of the reasons I broke out with one lady, she has the effrontery to tell me that he doesn't cook nor wash. I asked her; who does those things for her, she said maid, and if I'm ready to marry her, I should employed maid for her. I stylishly japa, I'm married with three children. Anty never marry till now, once in a while she will DM me, stylishly asked me some silly question to see if I will give her a chance.

It seems he's setting them up for failure. A husband is a husband (as in husbandry, if we understand what that means). He's not a boss.
Setting them up for failure how?

He spoke like a typical Yoruba father on hos daughter's wedding day; he also reminded Eazi that he is from a good home aka don't misbehave. Also talked about their genuine love for one another (a husband who loves you won't 'boss' you) and how they are both entrepreneurial aka (my daughter must keep growing with you).

He even started his story with how he bought two homes in Dubai for her wedding so the husband knows the kind of princess he married (I am sure he does).

I don't know why these urgent N2k NL boys are rejoicing or 'feminists' hyperventilating.

Haven't they attended a Yoruba traditional wedding before?

God bless their home. The ceremony looked so classy.

Are you a Christian? If yes, does submission to Christ feel like a burden or bandage?

Can you imagine Jesus hammering submission on the Church or telling the Church that 'He is the boss'?

Infact, if Christian men would follow that passage in letter & spirit, submission wouldn't be a hot topic in the Church.

My problem is with the word boss. An immature gen-zier may take it literally and goes in hoping to boss a lady who doesn’t accept being bossed. A husband is not a boss and shouldn't aspire to be one.

Boss ke? As if he will keep quiet if Eazi treats his daughter like an employee. One thing I have observed about Nigerian marriages is that, men will treat you according to your status. There is no way in hell will Eazi boss over Temi knowing full well what awaits him. All that advice from Otedola is just a misyarn, and for social media validation.
It's the usual advice given by omoluabi parents. It's a way of making a bride understand the best way of keeping her home. Humility, respect and cooperation are important. That doesn't mean that they won't support her if the man misbehaves.
