He only became a devil incarnate to you Yorubas after Tinubu won his election and betrayed him. If he was your beloved friend during campaign and made Tinubu president, he can also become the beloved friend of "some people" too. Don't you think so?

Elrufai has no scores to settle with the Igbos. Even as governor of Kaduna, he got awarded with a chieftaincy title by the Igbos for his role in dousing ethnic tensions in the North.

That was before Tinubu betrayed him. This is the sole reason why Kwankwaso will not decamp to the APC. You're now jittery that new alliances are being built across the Niger. There's no pathway to Tinubu's re-election in 2027.
