What is interesting here is the fact that NO NIGERIAN INCLUDING THE MOUTH PIECES OF THIS GOVT IN NIGERIA would have thought for one second before opening this thread that Nigeria would be on the list.

We all, to a man, KNOW that we CANNOT be on a list of well governed countries.

I remember when one APC folk once opened a thread and said Tinubu is the best president in Africa. Without any research, without any index, he just sat down in his room in Ogbomosho and declared.

Good governance beget good economy.
The good governance we are talking about cover accountability, transparency, trust and freedom of expression. Nigeria is nowhere to be to found in all these indices.
Common free and fair election we cannot deliver as a Nation, and expect the comity of Nations should take serious ba?

When the elections that produce the president is below minimum standard how do you expect governance to be good. The ruling party and the main opposition party are described as terrorist organizations. Definitely there is no way terrorist parties can bring about good governance
I am waiting for Reno to repudiate the statistics and come up with another fact-checked document that will indicate that Nigerians is the best since Tinubu took over govt.

The point SA constantly misses is that south Africa is 5th best governed in Africa. It won't take long before they too will start travelling to other parts of africa. Governance in Africa is taking a positive turn gradually

I am not sure if you read that African countries are declining in global ratings. Please read the entire article. Governance in Africa is taking a negative turn.

They were there when their Former CBN Governor - Emiefiele washed and wasted NTrillions, in Ways and Means - Accounts,in addition to Multiple -NBillions Anchor 🔱 Borrowers Farmers Money - but they are Pretending on the Social Media as gaulibles audiences,as if they travel outside the Country - when their brothers turned Afternoon Politicians,but Were all mute then! 🤐!

Yes, the classic “Nigeria has always been bad” excuse as if that somehow justifies the current disaster. So because previous governments failed, Tinubu now has a license to be even worse?

Let’s be clear: nobody is denying Nigeria’s long-standing issues. But the whole point of elections is to vote in leaders who will solve problems not recycle suffering and slap a new hashtag on it like #RenewedShege.

Tinubu campaigned on so-called competence, experience, and the myth that he “built Lagos from scratch.” He promised Renewed Hope but what we got instead is Renewed Shege and hopelessness, turbocharged poverty, a currency in free fall, and a government that treats gaslighting like official policy.

And no, Chibok didn’t happen under APC. But under APC, we got Dapchi. We got terrorists who graduated from motorcycles to coordinated prison breaks, mass kidnappings, razed towns, aerial attacks and now even flaunt ransom money on social media.

Today, under Tinubu, insecurity is the worst it’s ever been and Nigerians are being bled dry by economic hardship layered on top of fear.

So please, stop dragging 2007 into 2025 just to deflect from your current messiah’s failures. If Tinubu is truly “the best thing since sliced bread,” then Nigeria wouldn’t be looking and burning like charcoal toast
