So much water went under the bridge and her sanction was based on all of them-- from the drama she first had with the Senate President that saw Nigerians on her side and I think the SP apologized.

That episode made her very vocal trusting that Nigerians will be on her side again.

So after being reprimanded for flouting the house rules, she ran to the public court again.

I'm not an Akpabio fan, and don't plan to be.

However, I clearly see a woman who is trying to play on the emotions of people. This is why I will never support her approach on the matter.

How she didn't scream sexual harassment until her seat was reassigned makes me believe she downplayed the sexual harassment (if any).

Her main pain was the favors she stopped receiving and for that she doesn't appeal to me as one who vehemently seeks change for a cankered system.

Dear Natasha, you are part and parcel of the crooked system. It only came for you this time.

Her suspension was not politically motivated. She flouted the house rules and needs to be punished, the only issue is the length of time she was suspended..

They should have been fairer to her because she represents a constituency.

That said, we are yet to get any concrete proof of the alleged sexual harassment.

Let her obey and comply with the senate rules. Gra gra will not solve her problem but earn her another suspension. She must apologise to the Senate before the suspension will be lifted, according to the resolution of the Senate during her suspension. Let her submit to the Senate rules QED.

She will serve as a viable scapegoat to others who would want to be unfortunate to dance to the tune of the likes of Madam Ezeks, VDM et al.

No one is trying to take her guaranteed constitutional rights away from her. But remember she earned herself another punishment which made the court to order her to tender apologies in two national dailies! That is completely outside her unruly behavior in the Senate that earned her the suspension.

So they're two different cases. When she finishes the Senate punishment, she will carry out the public apologies, failure of which the Senate might refuse to allow her resume her legislative duties, and the court, which she could have gone to seek redress has given her a task she refused to do.

I wish her the best tho but I'm sure she'll not be willing to apologize.
Tender apology to the court and not the senate!

Senator Natasha will enjoy her stay now that Senator Akpabio is sick and weak
You don't mean this 😯
Akpabio will be back in the debate leadership once his health is back.

Haaa ! The 6 months peaceful co-operation in the Senate is over.

The DRAMA QUEEN is coming back.

Must you always have South East on your lips, you only ended up displaying your hatred against South East .
kedeojo:
Without doing the needful the court ask her to do, then her resumption will be fruitless. The court simply told her to tender apology on two national newspapers and on her Facebook page. I hate emotion when you fail to do the right thing and decide to be emotional. That is exactly what is happening to south east politically. Nobody buys that again.

It has nothing to do with her suspension

This conversation is about Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s constitutionally guaranteed right to resume her duties after a politically motivated suspension. The court gave clear conditions not suggestions and interpreting justice through the lens of emotion is both lazy and disingenuous.

As for dragging the South East into this, what exactly do they have to do with a Kogi senator’s mandate? This isn't a town hall for scapegoating entire regions. The facts are simple: her six-month suspension has expired, and she's set to return. Anything outside of that is just noise and distraction. It's not that complicated unless you're trying to distract from the facts
Senate will adjust her suspension if she tries to act another TikTok content again and you and other emotionalists can't do anything.

Not misogyny at all. When it comes to impunity and irresponsibility, this government is tribe and gender agnostic. They show their hooliganism without remorse for any law or institution.
