Reason " They said the applicant stated business purpose is insufficiently substantiated" further more, " I am not satisfied the applicant provided reliable proof of employment or income"

Note: I used conference invitation letter

The usual documents for visa processing.
-Proof of funds (account statements)
-hotel reservation (unpaid)
-Employment letter
-Leave letter from employer
-Past and current visas
-Pictures from previous travel
- Tour reservation (unpaid)

Sometime last year you said your friend was already working in a healthcare company in Canada and that he didn’t pay more than $5,000. So why are you now using a bogus conference invitation letter that IRCC already knows is not genuine business trip , instead of using the same route your friend used? Or did your friend not tell you the full truth?

Please, how true are his promises? I mean is it possible to use a visitor visa to work in Canada? Is it also possible to get an open work permit in Canada within two weeks?

with 9500usd monthly salary as seaman and 56k CAD in my account and 3 Schengen visa , timeless within 20 days , got diened , they are not sure that I will leave the country ,what I will do there with my 9500usd/ monthly ? And I asked only 10 days tourist and officer say insuffisant found!
I asked for reconsideration before the GMDS will be out after that I will take lawyer for appeal

be careful of scam.Are you not going to go for biometrics and submit your documents for application purposes.I don’t think the agent can get it

Canada lost 66,000 jobs last month and the unemployment rate is the highest it's been in 9 years. I'm sorry bro but agent is lying.

My friend did biometric interview since December 2024 and till now he's yet to get a response, his agent said he didn't receive any mail ..pls kindly help me ....

Use the tracker to monitor your visa status. Also, request your login details from your agent.

do it yourself, I did mine myself I even did the Visitor's Record to stay an additional year you don't need an agent.

Please has anyone being refused saying they owe the crown? My sister applied with her family, husband and kids were approved my sister was refused for the reason stated below, she had never applied before and has never being to Canada before nor does she owe any debt to the crown.

My parents just got refused.

Reason stated for dad - 'The purpose of the applicant's visit to Canada is not consistent
with a temporary stay given the details provided in the application. I am not satisfied that the
applicant has provided sufficient and reliable proof of their declared employment/funds.
Consequently, I am not satisfied that the applicant has demonstrated sufficient economic ties to
their home country and that the proposed visit would be a reasonable expense. Weighing the
factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the
period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application.'

Context - Dad is retired and worked in his own company before retirement. submitted document were retirement letter, bank statement (NGN4m), sponsor's bank statement (mine) - $20k, marriage cert, birth cert, children's birth cert, hotel booking (unpaid), tour booking (unpaid), photos, no previous travel or refusal history

Reason for mum - 'Previous visa application refusal(s) not declared. Application refused under A16(1) Truthful.' - I filled in the application myself and honestly missed this and just put in 'No' as it was grouped with those other questions on arrests, conviction etc.
