Personally I think Jason Momoa's performance in Chief of War is the best I have seen him, closely followed by his in Game of Thrones.

The concept of SEE didn't sit right with me. Blind people doing all that. I don't think I saw another episode after the first episode.

It's always fun when I forget to catch up on a series and the whole new season has been released.

BMF season 4 is a solid 8/10 for me.

This season 4 is by far the best season since the show started.
I love how they went more deeper into relationships, families, friendships and then the expansion of the businesses including more cities and more characters.
I appreciate how they gave a storyline to Nicole, the return of Lamar in association with Mickie.

The intenced relationship between the brothers, the intenced relationship between the parents added more maturity to this season.
Definitely most mature season ever and kudos to 50 cent and the crew.
Hopefully they give us a season 5, we really do need it since the season 4 ended in a cliffhanger.

The city is ours is a solid 9/10 for me.

note!!! This show is a slow burner but it's one of the most mature drug drama i have ever seen ever ever.
The British never disappoints at all with their unique accens, they just know how to add maturity in their series, something that exudes class.
Great casts, intriguing storylines, action served on a slow platter that tells you more in reality about the drug business.

We thought it was all over until something happened on the last scene of the final episode and now there is going to be a bloody season 2 and thank GOD it's been renewed for a season 2.
My only fear for the season 2 is that some wonderful and gorgeous women will surely be killed off.

Anyways i totally enjoyed this series and at a point i wish the season never ended.

Peacemaker Season 2, episode 1 didn’t resonate with me. The excessive use of nudity felt like a forced attempt to compensate for the episode's lack of substance. When I watch below-average content with heavy nudity, it often feels like a tactic to provoke a reaction. I found this episode particularly disappointing, especially after enjoying Season 1 up until the final episode, which felt more like James Gunn’s Suicide Squad than the show’s original charm.

Gangs of London Season 3 - 6.5/10 for me. Watchable bar one totally ridiculous episode which brought the rating down. It was THAT ridiculous.

You know how many shows I don arrange or plan to watch this year as well as new additions, I still have old shows to contend with. All the new shows I dey add for watchlist this year, I never even watch up to 10 sef. Even shows from January are still unwatched till now wey year wan almost end. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

I love Chief of War. I watch a lot of foreign language content so I was at home with the show. I can't watch something without the original language.
I always watch my stuff with subtitles so no problems for me.
Na within a day I binge watch am from last Friday evening till Saturday. I dey wait the final episode like dis.

When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025)

About a month ago, I was bored out of my mind. Work felt uninspiring, my few guilty pleasures had lost their spark, and I was desperately in need of something to rekindle a sense of purpose. Then I stumbled upon this show and one month later, I can confidently say this is perhaps the best K-Drama I have ever seen. Wait… it might actually be one of the best TV drama I have ever seen, period!.

This isn’t the kind of K-Drama that screams for attention. It moves at a brutally slow pace, unfolding in bits over 16 long, deliberate episodes. What emerges is a decades-spanning love story between two star-crossed lovers, set against the changing tides of Jeju Island, South Korea.

Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik carry us from their tumultuous childhood in the 1960s to bittersweet reflections in the 2000s. The show’s strength doesn’t lie in adrenaline or spectacle, but in a stillness, sunlit mornings, divers at sea, runaway lovers, petulant children, and dialogues heavy with what’s left unsaid. It’s a full buffet of emotions: tears, joy, despair, laughter, happiness, the whole lot.

The pacing drifts like the tide and might feel tedious to some, but its time-hopping structure is part of its charm. One moment you’re in the 1960s, the next in the 2000s, yet there’s always a seamless connection. It emphasizes that memory is not linear, and there’s never really a “wrong” time.

Rather than drowning us in tragedy, as the premise might suggest, the show offers a softer, more sustaining melancholy. It reminds us that love can be ordinary yet profound, fleeting yet eternal.

The casting is simply top-tier. The actors who played Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik across different ages gave such convincing performances that every stage of their lives felt genuine and alive.

I now realize why it took me a whole month to finish it, it’s not a show to be rushed. It’s best savoured slowly, like peeling a tangerine in the actual sense. After finishing the final episode last night, I found myself wanting to believe again in all the beauty this life has to offer.

An unforgettable show and quite simply unforgettable K-Drama!.

9/10.
