I visited a family friend at Gwarinpa, Abuja and was very surprised on the the rates charged for both house and school fee in the area.

Government's ineffective economics policies or reform like call it has capitulate the whole economy. Anyone who has a name or integrity to protect would avoid been the next Nigerian president after Tinubu. The situation is so scary I don't know how the rebuild will commence.

Before Tinubu entered as president I do make minimum of 1.5m monthly now he no reach 250k thank God Ihave build 2houses one for personal and a room and parlour self contained 3 for rented with 2kids na where I for see money build now, feeding self na struggling thank God me for 2 children na #180k I just paid. When the head is rotten the body cannot be good. All these is as a result of having crooks who should have no business being in power running the affairs of a state.
Go to places like Finland. They don't allow private ownership of schools. All schools are run by the government using the same high standards. Both the Rich and the poor attend the same schools unlike here where your minister of education may have all his kids schooling abroad or in one tucked away private school for the elite.
The government is not the solution to any problem. The government is the problem.

The part that I can't get out of my head is the one from Kaduna that is asking for quorum for private schools to raise school fees. Are the schools owned by the PTA?

Why are parents acting as victims? Are their wards forced to attend these private schools? Yoruba will say "wo fun, lo ja" which means trade is done with negotiations and if it is okay by you, you buy. You are never forced to transact.

That said, over the years, we have been electing heads who do not place value on education and the reason the deterioration continues. If we vote presidents with shady educational backgrounds, nothing will improve and even private school qualities will deteriorate.

Give birth to kids you can take care of. To avoid giving birth to too many kids that will end up being miscreants like armed robbers, kidnappers etc

While they are staying at home, they are missing text and assignments that will take 40% of continuous assessment.
