I believe he didn't play under coaches who were really ambitious and wanted to win something. If not, they would've changed it for him with all those unnecessary shaku-shaku he's doing while his team doesn't have at least a 2-goal lead.

I can't imagine he will be playing under modern coaches like Klopp or Guardiola, and he will be doing that nonsense when he should be launching the ball into the opponent's box.

Nigeria legend Sunday Oliseh has revealed that Jay-Jay Okocha’s dribbling irritated a few members of the Super Eagles team during their playing days.

I guess it was Nigerian fans who encouraged him/led him on to believe he was doing the right thing each time they cheer him when he is showboating. The coaches too contributed by not cautioning him; perhaps they fear he and his goons will rebel and down tools.
