Hopefully, the robotics industry in Nigeria is beginning to take shape, marking a good start for a sector that holds immense potential. With the rise of technology-driven solutions, robotics is gradually moving from concept to practical application in areas such as education, manufacturing, and healthcare.

I hope this can be built upon.

Let's try to at least conquer basic human needs like food, shelter, electricity supply & security before venturing into such complex things as robotics.

I read some comments up there and I SMH

The question is why don't we usually be proud of our own?

Why can't we encourage what is our own?

Well, I just realized that most comments here are from kids less than 25yrs

Nice concept from the builder though
Re: Meet Nigerian Robot, ARA By Prophet (Video) by SeeWahala: 7:54pm On Sep 08, 2025

AMAZING INNOVATION. WITH PROPER FUNDING AND VISIBILITY/MARKETING, THIS DEVELOPMENT MIGHT JUST BE THE NEXT BIG THING. SAD THAT THE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD BENEFIT FROM THIS INNOVATION ARE BUSY FIGHTING "FLYING WITCHES, VILLAGE PEOPLE, ET AL"

Made in china something....lets stop celebrating mediocrity. Until we start to manufacture oyr own things, the world will never take us serious. If you think i am lying, show me a country the world takes serious that is not a manufacturing country

Good one….. Eyi Ara coming from Omo Alara

Even if the haters say it only assembled in Nigeria let them assemble their own too.

Many of these people only look for faulty and they are allergic to talking good about their country.
Re: Meet Nigerian Robot, ARA By Prophet (Video) by franchasng: 7:58pm On Sep 08, 2025
Nigerians are not just serious.

You haven't counted one you jumped and started counting 100, was that how China became what they are today?

We must start from scratch.

We don't even have companies that can build molds for these things.

We must start from foundary.

We must start from building our own moulds, then we can purchase some critical parts from other countries, but the mold must be indigenous.

Our universities must be encouraged and funded for technical researches and development, military research institutes and national research centers that must be based on merit need to be encouraged.

Technical secondary schools must be revived and given the right limelight and funding.

The way a lot of you think is just toxic.

Do you think American inventors make everything in the US? Lol. Y'all are stupidly weird.

You build a prototype, send it to China since they have the machines already (and it will be cheaper than you just trying to build or buy machines for it's production) and they help with the production. Does it take away the fact that it's your invention? Y'all are damn negatively stupid.

No mind them. This will be in futility if agriculture, security and infrastructure is not put in place.

How does this stops the production of foods or the provisions of security? This prototype was designed and done by the private individuals, so why can't you reason
