You'll be surprised that enemies of progress and enemies of wealth will still cry miserably over this development. Please don't be, it's a divine curse. There's no other explanation.

Good Engineering, I heard him say excavation was done up to 200meters This seem impossible. If it’s pilling works I agree but excavation to 200meters is not reasonably practicable as an engineer. Even for a lame duck you cannot hold the materials in areas excavation was performed.

Op i hope they did a proper EIA on that project...the impact of yesterday rain on the ikorodu bridge crossing that project was hellish for motorists and commuters alike....that bridge was a big river due to blockage of its downward drain ...

cars could not drive through causing a massive traffic gridlock late into the night.

The Permanent Secretary, Office of Drainage Services and Water Resources in Lagos State, Mahmood Adegbite, has said that people drilling borehole in the Lekki axis of the state is probably drinking ‘’shit water.”

While speaking at a stakeholders meeting in the state recently, Adegbite noted that contaminated boreholes in Lekki pose health risk and added that treatment of waste water would eradicate any form of disease that may arise from it.

He said, “On waste water treatment, I will say that everyone digging borehole within the Lekki axis is probably drinking what I will call ‘shit water.’

People no longer praise any incumbent governor in Lagos State for executing projects. No matter what you build, nothing surprises Lagosians anymore. There’s money in the state, all you need to do is spend it wisely.

Do Europeans and Americans also celebrate lack of pipe borne water as well as lack of free basic education and healthcare after paying taxes for IGR and budget increase to N3.4 trillion from N42 billion a quarter of a century ago?

Do you think that is why we are praying and fasting for their japa visas, unlike those we forced there over a period of four centuries, in exchange for tobacco, alcohol, mirrors, fabrics, etc huh

fuckJones:
(A case study of Nigeria citizens & their elected oppressors).

During the Soviet dictatorship of Joseph stalin. He was a brutal dictator with mind of his own. On one fateful day, stalin came to Politburo meeting with a live chicken. Standing in front of audience, He started to pluck the feathers of the live chicken off one by one. The chicken trembled in pain, blood tricking out of its pores. It gave out grievous cries, but stalin being a cruel dictator continued without remorse plucking the feathers out until the chicken was completely Unclad. After which, he threw the chicken on the ground. The Unclad chicken was staggering in pain. stalin goes into his pocket and from his pockets, he took out some chicken food and started to throw it at the poor & hapless creature. The poor chicken in pain started eating and stalin started walking towards his seat. As he walked away, he kept dropping some feeds on the floor & the chicken followed him and sat feeding from his feet.

Joseph stalin then turned to members of his political party leadership. He said, "This chicken represents the people". "You must disempower them, brutalise them, beat them up, starve them and then leave them". "If you do this, go into your pocket & give them peanuts when they are in that helpless and desperate situation, they will blindly follow you for the rest of their life, worshiping you". "They will think you are a hero forever. They will forget that, you're responsible for their sorrowful situation in the first place." Breath taking, isn't it ?

Now! Take a look at all the people some Nigerians are busy defending on social media. Take a look at those they call their heroes. They are the same people who plunged Nigeria into the situation she is. They are the same people who are responsible for their predicaments. Did you see the numbers of people that throng to Saraki's House during this Sallah period to go collect peanuts? People trooping to Bola Ahmed Tinubu Foundation offices to collect branded One kilo bag of Rice & Noddles. Did you see the number of people of all ages who troop out to welcome Ex- convict James Ibori to South South! Do you see the number of handle mop following obi as if he is a seat? what of the one following dino malaye?

Your guess is as good as mine. Nigerians kill those they should defend and defend those they should kill! Pass to all your contacts & let your Political & Religion Leaders read, understand & digest.
The often cited biography titled Madame Tinubu: Merchant and King-maker, authored by Nigerian historian Oladipo Yemitan, paints her views regarding slave trading.

On one occasion, during her final sojourn in Abeokuta, she was alleged to have sold a young boy into slavery and was accused of it. When arraigned before Ogundipe Alatise over the matter, she reportedly explained: 'I have a large house-hold and I must feed them well. I need money to do that, that's why'.

— Oladipo. Yemitan, 'Madame Tinubu: Merchant and King-maker'

Another section of Yemitan's Tinubu biography, referred to as the Amadie-Ojo Affair, captures a slave trading deal gone sour in 1853 (notably after the 1852 Treaty abolishing slavery in Lagos) wherein Tinubu tells another slave trader (Domingo Martinez) that "she would rather drown the slaves [20 in number] than sell them at a discount".

The joy it gives me when I see government performing. No matter your political affiliation, political believes, you execute your mandates to the people you swore your allegiance to.

There's a reason why people came together to surrender their sovereignty to elected few—for security, provision of infrastructures, education, healthcare, and also pecking order in way of doing things.

If they fell on these, they fell as a government, and you will ask yourself, why the need for government?

This is the questions Nigerian leaders are yet to answer, until they answer them, they will be ruling as they deem fit.

This project is massive! But I pass Maryland daily, and it appears nothing is being done again.

BTW:

Sometime last week, I passed through ikosi-ketu and I saw the new secretariat that was built. Like, some States in Nigeria don't have such a beautiful edifice as secretariat, how much less a local government council.

God bless the Mayoress, Princess Samiat Bolanle (PSB)!

Do you know if the Chinese are also having the highest number of children out of school, with most of those lucky to be in school, attending private schools that are barely monitored?

Is this the foundation of the engineering wonders of 1.5 billion Chinese people huh

September 4, 2022

The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday.

Those surrounding green areas need to be planted with small trees and curated with shrubs and flowering plants.

But that will probably not happen.

The lack of trees contribute to why Lagos's lived environment can be harsh for its residents. Trees help with reducing environmental and noise pollution.

Abuja that is hotter is a more pleasant place to live with a lot of trees in the nice parts of town.
