Una two argument dey always dey funny shaa but this particular équivalence is funny, seeing as Muller has a world cup golden boot, silver boot and silver ball. Double digit world cup goals.

And he actually won the bloody thing.

Okocha actually played well in that Nations cup 2000, it was your Kanu that ghosted with no goal throughout and later destroyed us in the final.

If this is the watered down version Oliseh said 20yrs after retirement when nerves have calmed down, Imagine when the matter dey hot, Dem fit deck Okocha for inside dressing room after the game
I remembered Oliseh first announced his retirement after Maybe France 98 or 2000 Nations cup that some team members were more interested in showboating than actual football
Did you watch etim esin play?

The biggest trophy Nigeria won outside Africa was Olympic gold which Kanu led Nigeria to win vs legends like Ronaldo, Rivaldo R. Carlos when it was Okochas turn to lead he fumbled and couldnt even lead us to World cup 2006
Did Kanu flop in Eagles jersey with 12 goals in 86 matches or not?

That's why I just think administration is just a convenient excuse. I think we lack genuine talents. We only dominate age groups because we lie about ages
This is why we should focus on their exploits at Senior level.

In that regard, GBApillo flopped terribly with the Super Eagles.

His records are abysmal and horrendous

If you want to make Okocha look bad, kanu is the last person you wanna use as reference.

Shakushaku Okocha as a CM outscoring Kanu throughout all AFCONs is really not a record to be brought forward in public domain.

Maybe if you said Okocha's endless drimbles, na im no dey make Kanu see chances to score, you fit get point grin

Muller didn't play 6 Euros tournaments unlike your Kanu Nwankwo with no goal in 6 AFCON tournaments.

12 goals in 86 matches for Eagles, is absurd from the great Kanu. If Okocha did shakushaku, Kanu did rankadede angry

Kanu won our only Olympic Gold for us. Okocha sef went to that tournament but most people have forgotten because of his forgetable performances

When people talk about our Olympics win, who even remembers Okocha. Mention one tournament that people mention Okocha with

Kanu won U17 and Olympic for Nigeria, CL and EPL for clubs

Okocha dribbled someone

Muller world cup winner as top scorer for his team

Kanu Olympics winner as top scorer for his country

Okocha you know he dribbled one guy and won a throw-in

This is what Okochas NT teammates have to say about him. The type of thing teammates of Lua-Lua, St Maximin, Adama Traore will say about them

Nigeria legend Sunday Oliseh has revealed that Jay-Jay Okocha’s dribbling irritated a few members of the Super Eagles team during their playing days.

Oliseh played alongside Okocha for the Super Eagles and the retired midfielder has now disclosed how teammates were pissed with Okocha’s flamboyant playing style at times.

With Jay-Jay, most people would say he was a difficult player to play with, as teammates, as defensive players. But I personally had a way, an understanding with Jay-Jay that made it easy for me to play with him.

“There was one particular game, I’ll share a story with you. We were playing and Jay-Jay was doing his normal thing and Nigerian fans were going crazy.

“In our team, as much as we disagreed, every player was a king in their position. We had match winners – most of the players could win games but if someone did something bad in the group, the defenders always tell me, ‘Sunday tell am o’.

Oliseh continued: “They knew I was the only one who could say to Jay-Jay that ‘my man, release the ball and Jay-Jay would release. There was one particular game, he was doing it and we lost the ball. And the ball was coming and Taribo was going crazy about him. And he lost the ball one more time, and I told him ‘hey my man, I’m tired of running.

The next time he went on dribbling and lost the ball. I left the man. I let the opponent pass and they almost scored. Taribo went crazy, he crossed ahead of me and I had to grab him. Don’t joke with Taribo. He wants to win. He’s fanatical about winning,” Oliseh concluded

Shakushaku Okocha even outscored prolific Kanu in Eagles, with lesser matches played.

How would a striker play 6 AFCON tournaments, with no goal? Terrible.
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by afrodoc2:
Both Kanu and Okocha underperformed for their skill level and potential sha but for the national team Okocha was far better.

Kanu as an attacker went to AFCON 6 times and scored ZERO goal. Okocha as a midfielder scored SIX AFCON goals.

Kanu was great at Under-17 and Under-23, but he disappeared many times for the senior national team.

His club record was much better than Okocha's.

But why should a striker keep clean sheets in 9 major tournaments for his country over a 12 year period..if we include the 2004 AFCON?

Is this not an abominable record ? shocked

And he was collecting match Bonuses from the NFF

GBApilo aka "Absolute Zero" was more of a problem to the NT than Okocha.

Jay Jay has scored in Quater Finals, Semi Finals and Finals of the AFCON.

Even against the likes of Benin republic, Kanu failed miserably!

We would have fared better with the likes of Atanda Sakibu, David Tyavkase, Emeka Nwanna etc as CFs
