Goodluck Jonathan's political support base is Southeast and Igbos.


What Goodluck is doing is more like ungratefulness to Igbos that made themselves enemies of the rest of Nigerians defending him.


Even Ijaws and Niger Delta people deserted Jonathan when the heat was much, only Igbos stood solidly behind Goodluck till tomorrow without apology.

If not for Igbos, what APC planned to do to Goodluck Jonathan can only be imagined yet Goodluck refuses to use his number 6.


Tinubu knows that Peter Obi respects Goodluck Jonathan so much. He also knows that Igbos love Goodluck Jonathan and that is why they are pushing for Goodluck Jonathan to come on board.


Unless the whole North fully back Goodluck Jonathan like they backed Buhari, Tinubu will win Goodluck Jonathan with power of incumbency.


Peter Obi with some Northern support will win Tinubu hands down because Peter Obi appeals to Gen Z voters who happens to be the highest voting bloc in Nigeria today, and this is why Tinubu and his APC gangs don't want Peter Obi on the ballot, they prefer Goodluck Jonathan to Peter Obi.


If Northerners truly want to send Tinubu packing, they should take Peter Obi's word that he would do a single tenure. Peter Obi just want to leave a legacy in Nigeria like Nelson Mandela did in South Africa, he is not power drunk, he is just desperate to set Nigeria on the right path through few reforms like:


1 ) Complete electoral reforms that will make election rigging a thing of the past in Nigeria


2.) Health sector reforms starting from himself as President by banning foreign medical tourism of all government officials starting from himself the President


3.) Revival of Nigeria's agro sector through massive reforms that will rejig our agricultural production.


4.) Complete clampdown on insecurity using a new tactics I wont reveal here.

5.) Some economic reforms that I wont also be revealing here.


Not that Peter Obi will change Nigeria overnight but the massive reforms I listed above will reset Nigeria for good, and not the current policies of taxation that will further impoverish Nigerians and make more Nigerians poor and miserable which Tinubu is currently doing and plan to roll out in 2026.



But if the North believe Goodluck Jonathan is their best option, Peter Obi should let them be, he has done his bit and will forever be remembered in the history of Nigeria more than the current President that will be remembered for bad things only.
