I knew this would be the case. Natasha going to court is what they will use to run her street.

Akpabio let Natasha breathe
Are you ok? Do you read your own statement and understand it?
That Natasha herself went to Appeal court to appeal 5 million plus apologies as a prerequisite for considering her back.... she is bound to wait till her own Appeal case is decided

How you still blame Akpabio to let her breath is beyond charm...you actually need deliverance from Natasha hypnosis
with serious spanking

She shot herself in the leg when she took the matter to court knowing how slow our justice administration is

She rush to court to challenged her suspension instead of using in house resolution to solve the matter

She doesn't have a good lawyer or a good adviser

I think she listening to obedient advice and we all know how it will end

This is not about emotion
I have come to the conclusion that most of the people commenting here must be mechanics and Okada riders.

Na she carry them go court. If court never finish the case, even the senate can not bring her back. That's how the law operates.

That's why lawyers always advice people before they start cases because until it is resolved, it does not favor either party.

But it is often worse for the case owner as the status quo is followed till the resolution of the case.

That's the explanation without using any technical legal words.

She should have focused on representing the people who brought her there on the first place, why bring personal issues to replace that,

Taking him to court outside the senate should have been her initial action.
I totally agree.

Her choices of escalations were altogether very terrible.

However, the penalty for her misbehaviour, according to the standing rules, have been served in full.

There will be no justification to deny her re-entry to the chambers.

There is nothing stopping her resumption pending when the court cases will be resolved. What a lawless country being administered by tyrants.
Impunity grows gradually. I can say for sure we had better democracy in 1999 to 2007 than now.
Institutional desecration is growing from Rivers to Court to National Assembly.

Akpabio just want to frustrate this woman......when he was making advances and cracking jokes with her, what was he thinking 🤔
When he was making advances and cracking jokes, hope you were there..., but for now no resumption and room for SUBJUDICE!

The court told her to apologize to Akpabio, she choose to appeal instead of apologizing
I agree her choices are not good at all. She must have very terrible advisers around her.

Nonetheless, she has served out the penalty.

The court issues are an ongoing conversation that should be left to the courts to decide.

I do not blame the national Assembly; our Courts observe the body language of politicians before taking a stand ...

The so-called state of emergency in Rivers State is still pending in court as well. Does that mean there won’t be a resumption for Fubara?
She should be allowed to resume, unless the intention is to escalate this matter further. The case can still proceed in court while she resumes her duties. It is not her fault that the hearing did not take place before the expiration of the six-month period. Whatever judgment eventually comes would only amount to an academic exercise.

So the Senate shouldn't respect the court orders again?
But y'all said democracy is the way, so why stop the judicial process?

No, I disagree with you. The matter is actually subjudice, it is in the Court of Appeal so Natasha Apoti has to wait on the court to pass judgement on the case. Pending the time, statusquo will be maintained.

These Guys, especially Akpabio, are acting like Despots!
What else does he want?
Let the Woman do her Job in the Senate now, she was elected by her People, just as you are elected.
You have deprived her for Six Months, is that not enough or what is all these tyrannical behavior for?

But l dont blame Akpabio, l blame our Court System and Judges who have sold themselves cheaply to the Government of the day, as long as Wike build Houses for them. How can a Judge not give an affirmable and clear Order: This Woman shoudl resume on so-so date and if Akpabio refuses, he should be held in Contempt of Court and Jailed.
Simple.
We must start doing things properly in this Country and setting examples of all these Power-drunk individuals acting as if they are some kind of tin-god.

A Court has given Judgement, asking her to resume.
That Judgement is the status-quo that must exist, until it is set-aside by an order of a Higher Court.
That is how the Law works....well, in a sane Country

I hope we remember how he even got to be a Senator, because he did not contest the Senatorial Election from the begining (as he was angling to even be the Presidential candidate of his Party! What a joke).
He just came back, after loosing his Presidential disaster journey and "stole" the mandate given to another member of his Party who contested and won all the stages of the Election.
And our equally Corrupt Courts allowed the theft to stand.

That is how "place holder" came to be injected into our Political System.

Calm down and reason like a human for at least once .......Natasha wanted to out pace her shadow. Were it for the suspension alone, she would have resumed jejely. But no,women emancipation and independent women mantra wouldn't allow her think ahead....she went to court. Now that her case is in court, she gatz to present those "evidence(s)" she has been holding close or abi inside her heart since. Logically and legally, she can't resume till the outcome of the case. As much as I detest Akpabio with reasons, those old thieves,Wike included, are abreast with legal realities and know to manipulate and arm twist to their favors (God will still punish dem with stroke, liver<kidney issues.......and not the emotional tantrums thrown madam accuser Natash......
are done ?

See Carpenter, calling others mechanic!

A lower Court has asked her to resume, which she tried to do and Akpabio asked her to be locked out, in a show of Tyranny.

That Judgement is the "status quo", until it is set aside by a higher Court.
An Appeal of a Judgement does not invalidate the Judgement

Stop acting as if you know the law because from what you wrote above, you are a layman.

You are being oppressed and told if you speak out, they'd draw dagger and you keep quiet?

You don't deserve whatever it is they took from you in the first place.
She fought foolishly. She will pay the price. All the evidences she claims she has are yet to hit public space. Unless she goes to beg, her tenure may effectively be over. Now they will use the guise of a pending court case to stretch her suspension indefinitely.

Politics, globally, is tactics and diplomacy.
