The much anticipated showdown between Bafana Bafana and the super eagle is upon us.

The match will be a potential decider of who qualifiers for the world cup
No it won't... South Africa are strong favourites. Our issue is with Benin, who are second with 11 points.

Let's be real, Nigerias time at the apex of African football is long gone.

How many Nigerian players are even playing at the highest level? None, Zero, Zilch.

Today we have the supposed star of the team playing for Galatasaray in Turkey.

Within 6 minutes southie already has 1 shot at goal with 2 free kicks. That's an attacking mentality already.

Is the coach waiting to conceed before introducing Arokodare and other known attackers.
Is Lookman not already emotionally drained?

Naija should attack if they want to win.

Is it not CAF duty to inspect the field before play. Nigerian representatives are also expected to have toured it before now.

Why can't Iwobi hold ball, relax and think. He is very vital for today's match. He should control thr ball and passes as a playmaker. He's always in a rush!

He was horrible in the last game and he has started again.

This SA pitch is something else. The grass doesn't seems to be leveled. Maybe it's just me noticing that!

⚽️ BAD PITCH, BIG PLAN? 🇿🇦 vs 🇳🇬-

In an interview this afternoon, South Africa Coach, Hugo Broos ,don open mouth talk say, tru true , the pitch for South Africa vs Nigeria “no be the best”… but at the same time he come add say “ the pitch no too bad.”

But make we reason am 👇
🇿🇦 South Africa get plenty better pitches wey dem fit use. So why dem go carry this kain field? 🤔
Is it by mistake? I doubt it.

This one na clear strategy to disturb Nigeria players wey dey ball for Europe, because dem no dey used to this kain ground.

To me, this no be coincidence at all. E look like mind game — slow down our boys, frustrate our style, and hope say e fit give Bafana Bafana small edge.

But na here the matter dey sweet: sometimes this kind rough pitch fit even backfire on the home team.
