Mariangeles:
Honestly!
This is what gives South Africa the edge.
Their players hardly look to play in Europe.

We need to develop our local league, so much so that, even if players don't get to play in Europe, they can thrive and get paid well here at home.
Then, there's CAF champions league.

I can imagine only how many talents are out there, wasting away, while we keep depending on the same set of players over and over, who have nothing to offer.
Playing at the highest level is necessary. Yes we need to revive local league for longevity but that does not guarantee better team.

The South Africans did not play well despite their local players this game and it showed.

Until the final qualifying whistle, it is not sure that SA is going to the WC2026. So stop your unmerited boasting.
IT IS MORE SURE FOR SA RIGHT NOW.

REALITY IS, IT IS NOT SURE FOR NIGERIA.

SA WILL HAVE TO LOSE A MATCH AND WE WILL HAVE TO WIN ALL OUR MATCH.

SA IS NOT GOING TO LOSE ANY MATCH, IF THEY WERE GOING TO LOSE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE 2NITE AND TO NIGERIA.

Super Eagle should be overhauled because they are useless, let the serious players play the game.
There can only an overhaul when there's a reserve.
Do we have a reserve?

Unless we start from scratch to build a new team.

The criminals we have as administrator will ensure that never happens. I CLEARLY WATCHED HOW sA grew it local league till Mamelodi now getting into the CAF finals yearly if not winning it to pocket $1million dollar but the fools we have as football administrayor do not see that as source of revenue they will rather wait on politiciana to give them peanut instead of competing for CAF grand prize.

NFF should just be scrapped. All our problems in football starts from there. With their bad choices of football administrators and coaches they have set Nigeria back 20 years in football development. There is no way we can get it with the present NFF they are too comfortable with failure.

Yeah. And that begins at the grassroot.

We have the potential to play at the highest level. Always have.

It is better to start from the scratch to build a new team, we have many players at the grassroots.

I don't even know the difference between Nigeria and South Africa. Neither of the teams plays tactical football. Is this what they will play in the World Cup? African football is not growing!
Congratulations to Nigeria because the Super Eagles could "possibly" qualify as one of the best loosers in the group qualification.

The child they born the last time Nigeria qualified for world cup don marry. There was a time that fate is for small African countries but super chickens have progressively reduced to their true level.

Way forward?:

Dismiss everyone of these bunch of losers and get players who are willing to risk everything for the country and carve their names in gold.

Btw, if a penalty is not taken on the fact that south Africa fielded an inelligible player .. Motsepe has to be impeached cause this is an outright bias because it is his country...
He has to be penalized for this.

Honestly, it hurts.

Imagine if every state (or at least almost state) in Nigeria had their own football club.
Imagine the revenue that alone will generate.

No you don't. Four Best losers will play intercontinental play offs. We already have some countries in second place with 14 points, 16 points, 18 points and more. Nigeria is on 11 points only .

TRUTH IS NIGERIA COULD HAVE OWN THIS GAME BU T THE LACK OF DISCIPLINE OF EAGLE PLAYERS AND HOW THEY PUNISH OSIMHEN IN THEIR LAST GAME THAT LEFT HIM CRYING, LEFT THEM WITH TODAY RECIEPT.

ANYTHING U DO IN LIFE, RECIEPT THEY.

2DAY THEY DESPERATELY NEEDED OSIMHEN AND HIM TOO DEY OFF RELAXING.

NA SO....

NIGERIA SCORE BOTH GOALS FOR NIGERIA AND SOUTH AFRICA. GIFTED SOUTH AFRICA FREE POINTS. grin grin
They actually had discipline but the midfield could not locate the attackers ..

Our defense was good .. only ekong error made us lose this match even we practically drew..
