I watched all their matches in 2010, especially the outstanding game against Mexico. That was when the name Tshabalala was etched in my memory but as for this team I am seeing, its a no no.

What’s brah on about?😂 Are you sure we watched the same game? So of all the players (especially the Forwards) you could fault for being trashy today, it’s Iwobi (who was relatively better) that is your scapegoat?. Cut the dude some slack, he showed class both in our previous game against Rwanda and the one tonight.
He showed crass! His touches and passes were horrible. As a playmaker, he needs to hold and control the tempo of the game. He appears to be in a rush all time.

I'm not making him largely the scapegoat. There were so many players that performed below average as well. You don't have to agree with my take just as I neither agree nor disagree with yours.

Yet that team got out the first round of that world cup

And this current team has one of the longest unbeaten runs in the world..

Point is, you wouldn't support South Africa in any case so please stop being disingenuous, I can see through the BS

The Benin match, even if Benin would be winning, the goals shouldn't be more than ,2 goals..

If we best them and win the last match, we can still qualify through round off.

The ,1-1 against South Africa wasn't a bad results honestly

The squad is not near the likes of Benny Mccarthy, Pinear,Doctor Khumalo's or Tshabalala's generation where they played with flare and passion.

I wouldn't watch this squad if you paid me.

Do you want Nigeria to qualify and if yes, how many goals do you want them to score?

You spoke about 2010, there was no Benni, or Khumalo. etc..

Tshabalala's era was characterized by non- qualification, and inconsistency. There was also no flair in that team

This current team got us Bronze in the last Afcon and it got us close to qualification for the World Cup. Give credit where its due

Returning to the US after World cup performance in 1994 was supposed to be symbolic as this was the heralding of Nigerian football on the global scene.

Unfortunately generations have changed and football is money now. The heart and hunger those boys in 94 played with will so far has not been replicated as far as I am concerned.
