The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 70-year-old security guard, Lawan Sani, for sexually molesting three teenage girls after luring them with ₦500. The suspect, who worked in the Unguwar Sarakuna area, reportedly used small amounts of money to attract the minors before assaulting them and threatening them to remain silent. His arrest followed a failed attempt to abuse a 16-year-old girl on September 1, 2025, during which he was apprehended on the spot.

During interrogation, Sani confessed to previously enticing one of the victims with ₦500 to commit the abuse.
