See, I've once lived in a compound where the rule was, never stay out past 10pm. Funny as it seems, nobody dared break that rule, because, where you won see another house rent. It was cray!

You can buy the inverter and batteries. But not good to fix panel on a the roof of a rented building. But most commercial buildings allow their tenants to install solar panels.

A middle ground would be asking the landlord to allow you build a car sunshade. That is if he is scared of you ruining his roof and not some other reason. Use the shade to install your solar panels.

I just wish landlords would start renting fully furnished apartments sef. It makes moving out so much easier. Just pay and move in, and when you’re leaving, pack your clothes and go. I hate unnecessary loads (what we call properties). They become obsolete pretty fast anyway. Most times, more than 80% of the things we call properties are garbage, just occupying space needlessly. Our mothers especially are on this table.
