Ozumba has holes that are more than 20 inches deep.

This is terrible for an "Expressway", cause it means you'd be driving relatively fast >60km/h and all of a sudden you are faced with such deep holes and limited opportunities to escape the holes.

What is going on?

As I said before, the money that Sanwolu used to go and wave goodbye to Tinubu could be used for so many things, and in this case, it could be used to buy like 10 tippers of sand/gravel and asphalt.

Couple with the reckless way people drive and having no lane markings on the road, every trip on that axis seems extremely dangerous as fast, unruly drivers approach such deep holes

Lol. They have no value for true governance. Only politics and chopchop.

Governor of lagos state has refused to clear drainage and fix roads . It is unfortunate that we are sliding back to bad governance despite the structure fashola and ambode put in place . Rather than clear drainage he preferred to ban pure water and nylon rendering peoples investment useless.

Lagos is over hyped shithole. Nothing special about Lagos aside being former capital of Nigeria .

Lagos is over rated. No drainage system , everywhere stinks, agbero everywhere wyning you to drop something for boys with sachet of ogogoro in their hands, if you walk anyhow in around ikeja and oshodi at night boys will snatch your phone from you.

I drove on that road (after 3yrs) yesterday during the rainfall. The road is rubbish. I was so disappointed. Damn!

That road was tolled to provide money for its massive improvements and management.

Now that the tolls supposed to maintain the road is gone, you want the Lagos state government to deep into its pocket and do the job?
