Ontarioo:The CRS for the draw was 470 and she's on 475. Will draw's tie-breaker apply in this case? The tie-breaker was April 23, 2025 and her profile was created last year. |

Hello, please, is it easy for a Nigerian-trained nurse (only RN) currently resident in Nigeria to get a provincial nomination? How easy is it for Registered nurses to get PPR, please? |

psrsx:can’t really how easy it is, just know you would be competing with other applicants based in Canada, which might most likely give them an edge. |

Hello everyone, thanks for the job well done on this platform. Please I have a quick question, I created an express entry profile on behalf of my sister, she already evaluated her bachelors degree via Wes, she’s completed a postgraduate certificate program here in Canada few weeks ago, I realized she couldn’t claim point for two or more certificate, she was only able to choose highest level of education for bsc although she got point for completing diploma degree in Canada, but she would have gained massive point for two or more certificate, is it possible for her to claim the two or more certificates?? How can she go about it since she already evaluated her bsc degree. I await your reply thanks |

Jordyntimi:I think she can still claim two or more certificates. She doesn't need to evaluate her Canadian certificate cos it was gotten within Canada but she can claim two or more certificate while creating a profile. |

Please I am doctor currently doing my housemanship, do I stand a chance if I apply with one of experience after my housejob. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by amnotapervert(m): 10:53pm On Sep 14, 2025 |
Sureshegsy:So after completing your housemanship (internship), once you have one full year of independent practice or equivalent work experience, you’ll meet the minimum requirement. ⚠️ Note: Housemanship (internship) may not always be accepted as valid skilled work experience for immigration purposes since it’s sometimes classified as training, not independent work. IRCC usually counts post-licensure practice |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Oladim001(m): 6:19am On Sep 15, 2025 |
amnotapervert:Lots of people have used housemanship as part of their work experiences and got PR. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Profgordons(m): 9:29am On Sep 15, 2025 |
amnotapervert:Housemanship is paid work as the person already has provisional license from MDCN. My spouse used hers and it was counted as work experience successfully. Make sure reference letter covers the pay, working hours and duties. |

Greetings, I completed my biometrics last November in Canada and have a valid Canadian visitor visa. My account shows that my biometrics are valid for 10 years. However, I received an update from IRCC on Saturday afternoon, and when I checked my PR application summary, I noticed that my previous biometrics details (from my visitor visa) are now showing there. But I haven’t received any new BIL for my current PR application. Has anyone else experienced this? Was your PR application summary updated before receiving the new BIL, or did they use your previous biometrics? |

Try Ireland: https://www.nmbi.ie/Registration/Qualified-outside-the-EU Easier to transition in ireland than Canada |

Hello everyone, I’m a 23-year-old male. I just finished my final exams in Mass Communication a few weeks ago, and I’m looking to relocate to Canada. My goal is to eventually get Permanent Residency (PR) through Express Entry, but I’m very confused because of information overload. Here’s my current situation: Degree: Mass Communication (just completed, no work experience yet) Age: 23 No job experience so far Interested in Express Entry / PR pathways Considering learning French, but Alliance Française classes are expensive—so I want to know if it’s really worth it. I’m not sure if I should first gain work experience, learn new skills, or even get another degree to improve my chances. My questions are: What is the best pathway for someone like me (a fresh graduate with no experience)? Do I need to gain work experience first before applying? Is learning French a guaranteed way to improve my chances, or should I invest my time and money elsewhere? Are there specific skills, certifications, or further degrees that would increase my chances for PR or jobs in Canada? What practical steps should I start taking now? I’m new here and honestly confused, so I’d really appreciate any guidance or advice. Thank you. |

ilovelearning:Its normal. You'd still get another BIL Visit visa biometrics isn't used for PR |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Oladim001(m): 12:32pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
Vasiline:You need at least 1 year of work experience to be eligible to enter the pool Getting a masters increases your CRS scores Learning French increases your CRS score. Read up page 1 properly |

buenos116:Please I would like to ask just for clarification, did you mean to say IRCC asked you for more information on a job you didn't place in your personal history? Or you placed it in your personal history and then they requested more information? Or was it placed in your work history? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by amnotapervert(m): 2:04pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
Oladim001:Interesting, we learn every day. But the housemanship is added to the remaining 2 years, making it 3 years of foreign work experience, I believe — not just housemanship alone. |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by buenos116: 4:17pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
ilovelearning:I dont recall ever putting it in my personal history. But as I had made an earlier application years ago through an agent who wasn't transparent, It is possible they may have put it. KEY POINT TO NOTE: Be very honest, in most cases IRCC has more info about you either through checks or through something you may have insinuated in your application. So to avoid misrepresentation, have these in mind when arranging your story |

Vasiline:How do you intend to get into the pool and get the initial 67/100 with this profile? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Oladim001(m): 9:21pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
amnotapervert:If its only housemanship one has done. That's a year already. Enough to enter the pool. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by amnotapervert(m): 9:27pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
Oladim001:entering the pool is not the problem But in a competitive PR draw with high CRS cut-off, one year does not give maximum foreign work experience points |
