How I Almost Got Scammed at Computer Village – Until Glodnuts Ventures Rescued Me 💻

Last week, I went to Computer Village Ikeja to buy a laptop. Honestly, I thought it would be easy – just ask around, check prices, and walk home with a good deal.

But omo, I nearly cried that day 😩

As soon as I entered the market, one guy approached me on the street, claiming he could get me a “UK used HP EliteBook, Core i7, 16GB RAM for just ₦150,000.” The price sounded too good to be true, but I almost believed him. He even tried to rush me, saying “Oga, if you don’t buy now, another person will take it.”

Something in my mind told me to be careful. Still, I followed him to a corner shop. He brought out a laptop that looked neat outside, but when I asked him to power it on, he started giving excuses like “Battery don low, charger no dey here.” 🤔

At that point, I knew something wasn’t right. They wanted to scam me with a dead or fake laptop!

Luckily, I had heard about Glodnuts Ventures on Nairaland before coming, so I quickly called their number. Within minutes, I was directed straight to their office at:
