You claim you’re “not watching" this season, yet you somehow have enough time and energy to drop negative, condescending takes about housemates you supposedly aren’t watching. So which is it? Either you're watching and biased, or you're not watching and just here to stir trouble. Either way, your hypocrisy is loud.

You've made it clear over and over again that you think this season's lineup is “awful” — not because of how the housemates are playing the game, but simply because most of them don't come from your village. Let’s stop pretending. It's not the game you have a problem with — it’s the fact that you're not seeing a lineup dominated by Igbos, and that's where your bias kicks in, as it always has.

Your constant put-downs of non-Igbo housemates — calling them “unintelligent,” having "low self-esteem", mocking their English, and reducing their presence to nothing but tribal identity — is not only petty, it’s tired. We’ve seen this pattern with you every season. You’ve consistently supported housemates only when they align with your ethnicity, and conveniently turn a blind eye to their flaws while dragging others for existing. The hypocrisy is unreal. You support Dede — not because she's playing the game well, but because she's Igbo. Just say that and go. Stop acting like you’re some objective viewer with high standards. You’re not. You’re just tribalistic and bitter that this season doesn’t revolve around your favorites.

This forum is for fans of the game, not for people like you who think Big Brother is some kind of ethnic loyalty contest. If the “lineup is awful” to you, and you clearly hate what the show has become, then why are you still here? No one is begging you to stay. Just go away — you won't be missed, trust me.
God bless for this.

You know them

They're so pained about the selection and what's killing them the most is that this season is also giving in terms of entertainment.

They complain about marginalisation, but they do same to other regions in Nigeria

Below is my post to one of them that said it's Big Brother Oduduwa Republic

davodyguy:
Abeg sit down somewhere

Last season, all the Yorubas were kicked out early. Not because there was any conspiracy, but they just did not appeal to the voters. Did you see anyone protest?

Same last season, no single Yoruba made the finals.
Same last season, they included top 8 for whatever unknown reason(s), out of which 6 were Igbos (Onyeka Chigbo, Victoria Onyenwere Uchechi, Nnenna "Nelly" Mbonu, Ozumba "Ozee" Mbadiwe, Anita Ukah and Samuel "Sooj" Osuji)
Same last season, we had 28 housemates 12/13 are igbos, while the likes of Delta, entire south west, Kaduna, Edo shared the rest
Host is Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu, an Igbo man

Dead this narrative
Watch the show and move on.
Even let them evict everyone, no one cares

Despite populating the show last season with SE guys, was it a sucesss? Did any housemate from SE win?
The man that won is from Delta state

Let them put all 30 people from Lagos, it is who the fans like they will support

Abeg

From Season 2 to date, there have been more Igbo finalists and winners than Yoruba

Yoruba finalists/Winner
Laycon (1 winner)
Tobi
Debbie Rise
Bisola
Vee
Adekunle
Mike

Igbo Finalists/Winners
Miracle (1 winner
Mercy (1 winner
Hazel Oyeze "Whitemoney" Onou (1 winner
(Onyeka Chigbo,
Victoria Onyenwere Uchechi,
Nnenna "Nelly" Mbonu,

"Line up is awful" lenu we...re..y Safari girl just because Big Brother didn't select the majority of housemates from the region you hail from, as has been the case in previous seasons. Last season was a total flop and a snooze fest, with most housemates hailing from the Igbo ethnicity. However, this year, Big Brother has made an effort to feature contestants from every region, and the season is already shaping up to be one of the best. It seems you wanted Big Brother to repeat the same mistakes as last year, which was a disaster. If you're not enjoying the show, perhaps it's best for you to step aside and let others enjoy it.

We all defecate as human beings, but do you really want to watch another person defecate? Obviously, No. Why? Because it's gross and more importantly, it's PRIVATE.

But you'll agree with me that defecation comes with a great sense of relief, just like having sex minus the feeling of intense pleasure.

Now, would my pooping in front of you suddenly make me "real" or a deviant exhibitionist?

Jackie B admitted to being a wild one and she was even a single mother, but she made it clear she had evolved, sought a serious relationship AKA marriage, and wouldn't demean herself by doing anything on TV because she not only values herself and wants to market herself as marriage-worthy, she is A MOTHER (hence her always saying "My son is watching"wink.

You think it's healthy as a man seeing your mom bouncing her head on a man's pipe or finding her on Pornhub? Do you know the lifetime deep-seated sense of outrage that can cause all because your mother wanted to create "real content" for a wide array of perverts and voyeurs masquerading as BBnaija fans?

There's life after the show, some of the housemates are not even interested in fame and know they are representing themselves and their families (this is probably why people are voting Tracy and Faith).

Let's call what is wrong by it's name, we nowadays justify a lot of mess in the name of being adults. Society will ALWAYS lean heavily on the woman when such things happen while the man smiles to himself knowing he just added you to his body count and trophies.
BS!!

Your analogy completely misses the point. Comparing consensual sex to defecation is not only absurd but also intellectually dishonest. Sex is not “gross” or “private” in the same sense as using the toilet. it is a natural expression of intimacy, desire, and human connection. Reducing it to the same category as excretion is what fuels the shame and stigma around women’s sexuality in our society.

Jackie B’s choice to be reserved is valid, but that does not make Sultana or any other woman who expresses her sexuality openly less valuable or “unmarriageable.” Marriage-worthiness is not determined by how much of one’s sexuality is hidden from the public, but by character, values, and mutual compatibility. The idea that a woman automatically “demeans herself” for being sexually expressive on TV is exactly the double standard being challenged here because men in the same situation rarely face such judgment.

Dragging motherhood into this argument is also unfair. A mother being sexual does not erase her ability to love, guide, and raise her child. Children all over the world grow up knowing their parents are sexual beings; it doesn’t traumatize them unless society frames it as shameful. What truly harms children is a culture that demonizes women for choices men are celebrated for.
If society is going to judge, then let it judge both genders equally or better yet, respect people’s autonomy over their bodies and choices.

Point is, living authentically on a reality show does not make someone less respectable.

PS - I hope you also understand that someone like Jackie B and the likes can act all decent, sanctimonious and marriageable on TV, but when she comes out and people like you marry her, you start to see her real self that’s totally different from the image she portrayed. That’s the danger of pretending for the cameras instead of living authentically... you don’t really know who the person is until much later.

Thanks, bro. Honestly, nothing irks me more than when people start masking tribal bias as “criticism.” It’s not just annoying—it’s hypocritical. Especially coming from folks who are always the first to scream foul when the tables turn.

Let’s be real: this season is one of the most entertaining we’ve had in Big Brother Naija history. Yet, some people are out here trying to rubbish the whole thing just because it’s not flooded with their “village reps” like in past seasons. Make it make sense.

So because the house isn’t 80% your kinsmen, the show is suddenly trash? And then you have the nerve to coin nonsense like “Big Brother Oduduwa Republic”? What kind of tribal trash talk is that?

Abeg, who cares if you're watching or not? Nobody sent you DSTV money in the first place.

I’m not even the gbas gbos type—but tribal nonsense brings out the worst in me. I really try to stay civil, but some of these takes are so loaded with bias, it’s hard to ignore.

Big shoutout to Seun’s bots, though. If not for them, e for don red on these streets. Too many people getting bold with tribal jabs and thinking it’s normal.

At the end of the day, housemates should be rated based on vibes, personality, and content—not what village they’re from. Tribalism has no place in entertainment. If you're still stuck on that in 2025, maybe BBNaija isn’t your problem—your mindset is.

you people talk as if having 6 igbos (most of them rubbish though) is not enough. Dede, Tracy, Denari, Avatar, Bright Morgan and Doris are igbos. Even some of those from Rivers State are igbos in denial. When they were doing vernacular and translate, when it got to igbo, they called on Thelma to translate, just because she was unhappy with her punishment and the fake love housemates were professing, she looked up and asked Tracy to translate.
Imagine bringing somebody like Doris and ask me to support her because we are both from imo state, when they should have brought girls that look like Erica, mercy, ceec or chomzy. God forbid, I will rather support a cameroonian.
This is worst set up of igbo housemates in bbnaija history. Thank God Dede from Delta identifies herself as Igbo because me I only support correct igbo girls.
I like Zita so much and she's the one I'm voting this week.

This is hot,pious intellectual sodomy.

What in the faffi.ng around is "living authentically", flashing my privates for Africa to see?

Sexuality is a need, but it isn't a NECESSITY.

There are people that have gone through life celibate. They didn't die.

Very soon you'll argue that porn is nothing more than the "artistic expression of passionate desires that intricately mold and motivate us as humans & adults " and people who aren't discerning will clap for you.

You're on a show and a CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT & watched by MILLIONS & MILLIONS, with a warning that CAMERAS ARE EVERYWHERE.I don't know what alternate universe you live in, but certain things will always be PRIVATE & should be done in PRIVATE,otherwise there'll be valid justification for just bending a woman over on an express road and giving it to her in full public glare.

So Jackie B is fake because you didn't see her unclothedness or because she factored in her dignity, privacy and child into her decisions? You preferred Angel & Tega that were 'real' and gave you 'real' content to enjoy?

Morality is innate as well, and it's simply a sense of right or wrong which should guard our decisions as adults, even though morality isn't the law.

That's why the show itself faced so much backlash initially. In those days people would wake up quickly by 6am to watch housemates bathing, especially in Big Brother Africa. It was all justified as "a social experiment" until it got weirder.

In the BBA that Dilish won, for a $16 subscription, years before the coming of OnlyFans, you had access to content that wasn't shown on the main show.

That was how i saw Dilish naked and bathing. That was how i saw Fatima naked. That's how i saw Beverly & Angelo bathing. That's how i saw Selly & Nando having sex. That's how i saw Bolt & Betty having sex.

The backlash made the likely white pervs behind that nonsense stop it.

Imagine if such a service was introduced in BBnaija. I'm sure you would definitely subscribe and explain it as "a desire to delve deep into the reality of the human psychosocial complex and the intricacies of human intimacy within confined spaces based on upon the unique Nigerian socio-cultural climate "!

The housemates themselves know this, which is why no matter how carried away they get, they NEVER let the duvets slip. Moreso, they now receive some assurance that some areas and scenes will never be shown on TV, so they sometimes get too confident.

The show is for seeing people co-exist and occupy themselves with tasks while we feed of the drama of their interactions in a controlled space with rules and under constant watch. This is why even though fighting is part of reality, you don't try that in the house.

If you want excitement, get a lover or go watch porn or pay people to have sex in front of you. That's as "authentic " as it gets.
