Broveens42:While Uzodinma's federal constituency is crying for development, he has been governing Imo state with the philosophy of "Owerri wu ebe ngwori," meaning Owerri the land of frolicking with the opposite sex. In 6 years +, Uzodinma has governed as if no other urban town in Imo state outside Owerri deserves government attention. |

RollinTNDA:The only state in Nigeria with only state capital as developing city. The once developing urban centres outside Owerri are suffering 6 years arrested development. No thanks to gov Hope Uzodinma. |

NaijaNaWaa:I agree with you the contractor doesn't sound like he has capacity to do the project but nevertheless it's a nice idea if it will be done right... The number of patronage on Solution funcity Awka shows it will be a good revenue, employment generation and provide quality aesthetic appeal to the state but I doubt if the project will come to fruition due to massive financial requirements. All the parties seems like they will "chicken out" |

What we thought Wike and Fubara would have done with the many waterfronts across Port Harcourt. From Iwofe, Agip, Mile 1 to Elelenwo, Woji, Bundu, Borokiri, Marine Base, Abuloma, Water surrounds the city of Port Harcourt but no water-based resort in the entire city. Instead it's slums, garbage dumps, shanties and dilapidated jetties adorning the waterfronts. The one proposed by landmark in Port Harcourt tourist beach is yet to hit the ground. There are beaches in Kula, Bonny, and Andoni that can replicate Eleguisi, Landmark, and Tarkwa Bay Beach but nothing. Such a shame. |

This river's origin is an underwater spring. I have a property near the origin. The area is incredibly beautiful but the water there seems to be very deep. |

correctguy101:That's the actual colors. The portion closer to the right-hand side of the image is near a bridge and so the water tends to get muddied up there. It's also shallower there, due to sand from run-offs during heavy rains |

Broveens42:How will the state maintain and upgrade the infrastructure if the governor is not employing enough teachers for the free education of all Imo children? Is their progreThief governor doing better than his Lagos counterparts? Or is he doing worse? Babasessy:Ratio of public to private schools in Lagos State is one to 22 ― Commissioner September 4, 2022 The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22. The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday. https://tribuneonlineng.com/ratio-of-public-to-private-schools-in-lagos-state-is-one-to-22-%E2%80%95-commissioner/ |

correctguy101:There are two different rivers at different water fronts. Only if you were a student of FUTO, you wouldn't get confused. I knew the first picture fascinated you, that's why this project is very much needed to satisfy your curiosity.

SmartPolician:See the lame excuse given by the oil companies because of the well orchestrated subjugation of the Eastern region. I have seen a colony of whites and their families in new owerri, with their own police post and all that. Isn't it ironical the white men keep their families in owerri while on official duties in Southern parts of Nigeria ? |

SmartPolician:That is how you attract investment into a state, create an enabling environment, encourage investors to relocate their operations to the state, develop operationally skilled employment, and foster indigenous development. |

Ever since Ebuka Obi of Zion Ministries set foot in Imo State and relocated his ministry’s headquarters there, the state has been on a steady rise from obscurity. Someone should fact-check what I just said. |

SmartPolician:I am not going to dispute your argument but I am going to disagree with the governor in terms of world class hotels, imo state stands out as the hotel capital of Nigeria, politicians will always give a reason to invest in unpopular projects. 'Politicians are the same everywhere, the promise to build a bridge even where there is no river'-Nikita Kruschev! |

AustineE1:The governor didn't lie, it was the big players in the oil industry that gave the laughable excuse of not having a five star, all in a bid to subjugate the eastern part of Nigeria. The reaction of the governor, shows he's emotionally and politically intelligent by conceding he has no 5-star, going by global ratings. Some other people like you and me, would make a solid case like; expatriates having their families in owerri and already living comfortably, without addressing the issue raised. |
