First, shooters always going for guns instead of cars for operations like this tells you something - it is more effective, easier and usually successful. Cars and guns not the same.
Secondly, cars, knifes are not options, they're necessary tools used everyday, we can't do without them. You always need knife for different tasks. Same doesn't apply to gun. You don't need gun to slice your food or transport to work.
Third, if everything poses threat, the more reason we should cut them to barest possible. Cars, knifes already kill people, so what's the sense in adding guns to the threat?
Forth, asides sane arguments, in practice/reality, gun right is a failed experiment in the US. It simply doesn't work. It only takes lives. What's the point doing something that continues to fail?

Dictatorship in the UK? NO.
Whatever happens in UK, applies elsewhere, it's all about government policy on migrants, lgbtq etc. It equally happens in the US.
Society with gun always put government in check? NO, big fallacy. Such never happens.
Gun right for defense? NO. With all the so called gun freedom in the US, criminals operate all the time and people are still helpless, can't defend themselves or others, they still rely on the government and cops.
Nigeria case? It is not about gun rights, rather terrorism and a government that fails to live up to its responsibility.
Safety in a society relies on gun right? NO, rather it always relies primarily on law abiding citizens, rule of law, law enforcement and a responsible government.

All your fallacies never work, gun right rarely offers any positive values of safety, defense or freedom in a society but rather it usually leads a society to gun abuse, crime and anarchy.
Ironically this whole thread itself is stating the obvious truth - a gun right society facing the usual consequence and as fate had it, the victim is a supporter of gun right.
