Suicide is now legal in nigeria. A very good one. But this is a message from Tinubu government to Nigerians

They now want to give all citizens the license to commit suicide once you're tired of government policies

Lemme break it down for you: attempted suicide will be decriminalised. Meaning it's no longer a crime to try to take your own life. Meaning of a person is stopped, he will be set free to try again.

I do not smoke marijuana but I smoke money. If such is legalized, it will be a big thing to tap into.

Funny country, you save someone that want to die and criminalized him, and jail him. Instead of law to rehabilitation of suicide attempt. Anyone that committed suicide or want to commit suicide is already dead before the suicide. If you try to arrest him in order to jail him, he will kpai you before going down.

That means anybody wey Tpain don finish patapata is free to take his own life in peace as a way to escape the hard biting hunger in the land.

I believe that attempted suicide should not be criminalized, the "offender" should be shown compassion and given help . Usually people in that situation are going through tough times.
