For your information I was born in Ojo local govt of Lagos, and I know the place, tradition and language like the back of my hand.
Now back to the obi and Eze of a thing, like I said earlier, I am not in support of it. But we have been hearing that for over 40yrs and no problem. So what then changed now. Do their calling themselves that threatened your existence, change Lagos traditional rites and culture.
Or don't they obey your baales and obas in Lagos! You guys are just beating yourself over nothing and a harmless title.

I was born, raised, schooled, and still reside in Lagos in the year 1980 even though by Igbo parents. I have been hearing Lagos is no man's land since early 90s I know myself very well and we always laugh it off and it never caused quarrel or rancour between me and my friends who are Yorubas.
