Guinness World Record holder and food influencer, Hilda Baci has taken delivery of the massive pot for her recording breaking event.

Recall that she's set to cook the world’s biggest pot of jollof rice.

The massive red pot, which has a volume of 22,619 litres, was fabricated in Gbagada and was transported overnight to Eko Hotel in Lagos, the venue of the event.

Videos show the pot branded with Gino being delivered under tight supervision.

Hilda confirmed its arrival, saying: “At 4am this morning our pot was safely transported from Gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko Hotel where the event is taking place. I’m still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24 hours.”

You're right I'm angry because by focusing on irrelevancies like this, we are taking away attention from the people that really do deserve that spotlight.

Nigeria as a nation needs to wake up. We are not a developed nation that can afford to focus on such things. We see people in developed countries doing it and copy it without considering the ripple effect on the average Nigerian teenager/youth. Now they are all on social media looking for handouts and turning to failed content managers all because we place focus on things like this.

It's not just the government, a population focusing on the wrong things is the greatest recipe of a failed country.

22 metric tons of food? I have to see this to believe it. That so-called pot looks like a dustbin. Nigerians like free things. A street full of individuals will consume the meal in a matter of hours, if not minutes.
