Our enemies must know, since the creation of Israel, the blood of Jews is not cheap-Netanyahu

According to a report by The Times of Israel on September 9, 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a forceful address at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, following a targeted airstrike in Qatar that killed senior Hamas officials.

His remarks underscored Israel’s uncompromising stance against terrorism and reaffirmed the state’s readiness to confront threats without hesitation.

“One thing our enemies must know, since the creation of Israel, is that Jewish blood is not cheap,” Netanyahu declared, stressing that Israel would not permit attacks on its citizens to go unpunished.

His statement came against the backdrop of an operation described by Israeli officials as one of the most significant strikes against Hamas’s external leadership in recent years.

The prime minister revealed that the targeted site was not chosen at random but was the very location where Hamas leaders had celebrated the October 7, 2023, assault on Israel, which resulted in mass casualties and international condemnation.

“This strike was not just a message it was justice,” Netanyahu said, adding that the airstrike represented Israel’s determination to hold those responsible accountable.

He further warned that the so-called “age of immunity” for terrorist leaders who operate from safe havens abroad was over. “The blood of Jews is no longer cheap since Israel’s establishment. We will pursue those who harm us, wherever they may be,” he declared.

Netanyahu’s comments also touched on international diplomatic frameworks. He noted Israel’s alignment with principles earlier endorsed by U.S. President Donald Trump, arguing that the ongoing war in Gaza could end immediately if Hamas accepted those conditions. “If Hamas is ready to embrace them, there is a way to peace,” he said.

Speaking directly to the people of Gaza in English, Netanyahu urged them not to be deceived by Hamas’s strategies. He accused the militant group of showing complete disregard for civilian lives, pointing out that its leaders shelter underground in fortified tunnels while leaving ordinary Gazans exposed to bombings and shortages above ground.

“They use you as human shields while ensuring their own safety,” he remarked, portraying Hamas’s leadership as cynical and self-preserving.

Regional analysts suggest Netanyahu’s speech was designed both to project strength to Israel’s adversaries and to reassure a domestic audience still grappling with the trauma of past Hamas attacks.

The prime minister has faced mounting pressure from within his coalition to demonstrate decisive military action while simultaneously navigating delicate diplomatic relations with Washington, Doha, and Cairo.

International reactions have so far been mixed. While some Western leaders quietly acknowledged Israel’s right to defend itself, human rights groups expressed concern about the risks of escalation, particularly given Qatar’s role as a mediator in hostage and ceasefire negotiations. Critics argue that the strike could complicate efforts to revive talks and deepen humanitarian suffering in Gaza.

Nevertheless, Netanyahu’s framing of the operation as a moral and strategic necessity appears to signal Israel’s commitment to a long-term campaign against Hamas leadership abroad.

By invoking historical memory and the founding ethos of the Jewish state, he sought to remind both allies and adversaries that Israel views the defense of its people as non-negotiable.

“The world must understand,” he concluded, “that Israel is not passive. We will continue to defend ourselves, and those who shed Jewish blood will pay the price.” he said.

Even though I feel Israel is going beyond her boundaries in this fight the wrong way... You can't help but admire the tenacity of a man who is willing to go to any length to eradicate those he terms as 'enemies'.

I love when a leader is determined to protect his pple at all cost no matter the backlash!!! That is patriotism from a leader which inspires confidence in the followers!!!

But really, this war has got to end cos so many innocent souls are dying for a crime they know nothing about.

But a leader who bombs every neighbor at the slightest excuse is not protecting anyone, he is trapping his people in constant fear. You cannot step outside without watching your back, knowing every neighbor remembers what you did to them.

And when you start bombing the mediators, it becomes clear, it was never about peace in the first place.

I totally agree with your point of view... He is out of bounds in so many areas of the war!!!

Bibi and DT aren't interested in ending the Middle east Crisis
If they cant fight wars , their respective economies will collapse , their economies is built around wars
And it's not about "WINNING THE WAR"
but perpetrating it for as long as it's practically possible, once it's no longer sustainable, they bolt like they did in Afghanistan after 20 years of pretending to fight terrorism

Point of correction, he didn't term them enemies, but Islamic terrorists turned themselves to enemies of isreal by all means since their holy books support hatred of Jews and christians
