Doesn't always end up like this. I remember during my NYSC days, I audaciously went to the FCT Water Board at Area 3 (to see the Director). The PAs there use me catch cruise sha. I didn't bother though as I was clad in my Khaki. I ended up not seeing the Direct sha. But I'm glad I tried ![]() I'm still a Civil Service enthusiast. |

That was when some decency still remain small for this country... If you go near a government house gate now, you will be shôt. Did you hear what happened to that guy recently that said he had a divine message for one governor like that.. he went near the gate of the government house and he was shot and he's gone... they later claimed he had mental issues.. A word is enough..🤔🤔 |

That may not happen nowadays. They will first think you are a suicide bomber or sent by the opposition to do some harm. Rather than take you to the CPS, they will try to extort you. Nigeria has changed. |

It works. If you are interested in working in an organization, visit the organization and approach the head of the department that you think you fit in, talk to him. It works. It has worked for me |

Lies; believe social media at your own peril. Firstly, not very many Nigerians owned a computer to become self-taught computer literate in 2003. Few people who were literate were very rich or children of the rich who owned a computer then or had the resources to go to a cybercafe and buy time; either way, they were still among the rich Nigerians. Secondly, in 2003, no poor man would wake up one day and walk to the government house to look for a job if he had not been referred or had someone in the government house. Let him not sound brave or courageous; we know he was privileged. I rest my case. |
