This is where the role of citizens in governance comes into place. How many Nigerian fathers can do what this guy did?

I see a lot of talk about corporal punishment as the magic wand to morality, if that were so Nigeria would be paradise.
While it has its place in child rearing, its abuse engenders recalcitrance and not repentance. Psychology has shown that both negative and positive punishment work to reinforce values how there are used is parental wisdom.
