Against all counsel, only mom on my side, I stubbornly married my working class PREGNANT wife at 24 years of age, wifey too was also 24 at the time (had Federal job) in 2019 who hand her salary over to me every month to start my business (because I was jobless at the time of my wedding) in addition to the previous loans she had secured for me to opened the shop. Not saying we are rich, but we are not poor either. We are almost there with three beautiful daughters.

Making sure I don't care about following the right part in business....I'll explain

Some years ago, I invested well over 3 million naira into a small oil and gas business, and struggled with it for about a year. Then Buhari's tenure came in, and I still continued to do the business with honesty and integrity but the small business wasn't moving forward due to bad government policies! So I spoke with someone who was doing well in the business and he gave me some wicked and crafty ideas on how to make millions. It was very hard to tow that part, but I had no choice!

To cut the long story short, before Buhari's tenure ended, I had made close to 130 million naira in profit. And today, following the same pattern, I can boast of a little over 200 million naira.

The truth is, if you want to make it in naija with this wicked government policies, you have to be cunning, ruthless, heartless and mischievous.
Absolutely truth, but how do we get it right if we all continue in this order

Lied I was shortlisted for an aptitude test for graduate training while I was not. The younger security guy almost bounced me but great thanks to the older man who told me to go inside. I took the test, passed, and the rest is history. This is how I got my first job two months after graduation.

Unfortunately, I did not. The test was held at a branch while I was posted to Head Office. I visited the branch once and no one even knew the old man because they are contracted, and the firm is the one who assigns them to branches.

What will it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
Thank you for these words of wisdom. Most people answered as if God cannot bless that you have to do evil to succeed. So really WHAT DOES IT PROFIT A MAN TO GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AND LOSE HIS SOUL? nothing!!!

This post just reminded me of the missing script I had in my final year. When I met the lecturer, he asked me to go into the store and check for my script after 3 hours of searching I didn't see my reg number, Na so I changed the reg number of number 84 to 184 and gave it to her.

This act saved me from an extra year

Let me talk about someone else and not me for security reasons...in the late 90's/early 2000 if I can remember well, we were living as tenant in a flat the landlord lives there too and owned a well established pharmacy, staying with him was his sisters two children boys, the wife, wife sister child and two kids...

Every Saturday it was always the turn of the boys to go the the store to clean and to sell even though the man trained them till secondary school level and fed them well but I guess one wasn't satisfied, he was a fantastic footballer then...so oneday it was his turn to stay at the store and he made away with 400k then.

His uncle was furious used police and everything to search for him but all efforts proved abortive .....later we learnt he was in France, later joined their lower division made enough money, married, returned what he took even above, I later heard he became very rich.

I learnt one lesson from this that life has no formula, if your mind ascertain or Carry that thing when you wan do..do am nu look back it's either you bend or break.

My ex who journeyed via Libya route has made it big built a house and she is doing well meanwhile some died ...I repeat once your spirit and mind affirm that thing run am. Life nu get formula

200m is huge, it's over $100k....Do you have it? You should be talking about maybe 5-10m which is less than $10k

In the context of the man talking about doing an oil deal or in terms of a business doing well generally, it is not much.

200m is very much for someone earning a salary or any random poor person but in the business world and doing well for yourself and setting yourself up, its not much. If you buy one plot of land on the mainland in a nice area for 50m and build a nice duplex on it for 100m, 150m is gone. 2020 Tokunbo Toyota Highlander is about 40mm, you have just 10m left. Na when you start to dey live some kind life you go know say 200m is sheet.

I wouldnt answer if I have it or not but I have seen money, a lot of money in my life. When you get to that point, you know its not much.
